jacke Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I have a 510 and put my battery in the charger to recharge. Now that it is done charging I can not get the battery to unscreww from the charger. It just keeps turning around in the charger. It feels like maybe the part inside that it is screwed into keeps turning with the battery. Is there a way to open charger to see if parts inside came loose? Now I have no way to recharge except with my PCC. Help
DarthVaper Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 That sucks. I wish I could help, but I know there are some electricians and otherwise very handy people on the forum who will be able to solve this. Bet you're glad you have a PCC as a backup!
Christopher Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Hmm this is the first time I've heard of this. How hard did you screw the battery in? If you want to take apart the charger you will have to glue it back together (wouldn't take much at all) Just make sure of course that it is unplugged then use a Plastic Case Opener to take the case apart. I use one of these: http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=XX1521 You can also take a small screwdriver and rap a little bit of electrical tape around it to make sure you don't damage the plastic. Then see what's going on inside Of course you could always just take a hammer to it and smash the thing apart then just use your PPC
