I have finally tried using a tank, and find I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. As with anything, there is a learning curve and I have picked up tips from folks here on the forum.

I am going to be ordering replacement cartos, and here lies my questions.Seeing that the liquid draws from the bottom of the carto, wouldn't a single coil be sufficient? What is the advantage of double coil?

I would also like to know what you tank users prefer when it comes to low vs high resistance? What voltage do you vape at?

Thanks in advance.

they say there is more coil surface area in dual coil cartomizers which means more vapor production and less stress on the coils. Ive used dual coils and single coils and the vapor production is slightly noticeable in difference to me at least. I also read that the dual coils are supposed to last somewhat longer since theres less concentrated stress on the coils but im not sure.

The liquid is absobed into the filler and be avaiable to any elements in there. The dual coils just have as stated more surface area.If you like vaping regular cartos without the tank you could use single coils. The choice between the two is more up to your prference.

doesn't matter, pick one. there's nothing special about dual coils over single coils.

i liked dual coils for a while, but lately i've found that with any amount of vg at 50% or more, they just don't seem to work as well as single-coil's, the theory in my head is that they just need more voltage, but i'm not really sure, i've completely moved back to Boge single-coil's, are there any tank carto systems for regular boge's? anyone know?

I find that single coil cartos work just fine in any tank. I have a J Tank and a Submarine tank, and I use all sorts of cartos interchangeably. the XLs are easier, because you have a little more room to work with, but the standard size works fine, dual coil or otherwise.

I ordered some diferent cartos to experiment with. I'm still learning, so it should be interesting.hehe

I got a 15 pk of 1.7 ohm resurrectors from CCV and put a slot in one with a dremmel and tried it out in the tank. So far it's been awesome. The have prepunched ones, but I didn't buy those in case I didn't like them in the tank.I'm waiting on mailman for some other cartos to try.
