chrisahx
HI, I ordered a 901 kit from dietsmokes. First off, I paid $27 bucks for overnight delivery, it arrived on time, I had ordered a kit, 2 extra batteries, a bunch of carts both with juice and empty carts and 2 bottles of juice, order was like $187 total. They sent the wrong batts for the 901's the batts they sent fit the first "mini" I got, they also sent me brown carts , not like the black ones that came with the kit. (thats not a big deal however) But what get's me pissed is that they don't reply to emails. I emailed them yesterday after I ordered to ask for the tracking number. Ignored. Then today at 3:30pm EDT and still nothing. NOw I'm having problems with both batteries that are the correct ones that came w/ the kit, both are blinking like crazy. The atty's are also are getting real hot. Do u think they are defective, or am I just hitting them way too much. I don't draw for more than 3 or 4 sec's, so thats not it. But I draw maybe every 10 to 15 sec's when I'm vaping. And I vape every 15 mins at "least". Any advise on what I should do about both issues? I do know if DietSmokes never replies, I'll simply dispute the charge on my cc, and every single time i've ever disputed a charge w/ my bank, they side w/ me and reverse the charge, so if it comes to it, i'll win, but I would hate for it to come to that. VegasVapor
Sorry about your experience with your products and dietsmokes. I can't help you with the product problems since I don't have a 901 and don't have any experience with it. But with dietsmokes, all I can tell you is keep trying. I ordered a janty stick from them and it was defective right out of the box. I tried filling out that warranty and returns form on their website. They didn't reply back. The next week I tried again. Still no reply. Finally I sent a direct email to Parked and posted on the ECF forum. Finally got a response from him and got a replacement. I hear he's super backed up with emails, so it takes him awhile to get back to everyone. Just keep trying to contact him, he'll eventually respond and take care of you. Christopher
Couple things, first Parker tends to take a little while to answer. He's one of the biggest ecig suppliers and people send him about 400 emails a day. I know that's no excuse but he will get back to you. If you want I'll give him a call and see if I can get him on the forums. As for the blinking battery lights, you need to be more specific. They just blink all the time? Are you sure it's not because your hitting the cut off? You have to remember the 510 like what we use in the videos does not have a cut off. However the 901 does, so after about 5 seconds it will start blinking. It was a safety feature china decided to add. EDIT: As Vegas stated you will have to fill out the warranty from see he knows there is an issue: http://www.dietsmokes.com/pages/Warranty-And-Returns.html
chrisahx
The blinking only starts actually after the atty get's real real warm. So, now I'm not sure if its the batts or atty's? But still they did send me 2 wrong batts and I paid for overnight delivery, so if you could call, I would like them to send 2 CORRECT BATTS out for me, and I'll send the other two back to them. If they can express it out tomorrow, that would be great.
Christopher
Chris if the atty gets to hot on the 901 it will blink and shut the unit off until the atty cools down. It's a safety feature. (Although didn't know the new versions still did it) That's just how the 2nd generation units are. Although I'm sure some 901 users can shed some more light on this. Does it do it no matter what battery you are using? How long does it take before the unit starts to blink? I also spoke with Parker and he said he has answered your emails quickly (IE the shipping emails you sent) I let him know about the batteries and he should be contacting you tomorrow. I also informed him if your order number.
TheSmokingMan
I bought my DSE901 and my DSE801 from Arno at awesomevapor.com. I placed my order around Midnight on a Saturday night and it came regular mail from Georgia to Houston by Thursday afternoon. I have had absolutely no problems with the products that I have ordered from Arno. I also ordered some extra batteries from TotallyWickede-Liquid.com and they act funny. They don't shut off sometimes and you have to watch them or they will burn up the atomizer. Also they don't seem to last as long as the ones I ordered from awesomevapor.com. Chris- I got you covered 2 new batts and a extra atomizer sent overnight again today so you will have it tomorrow :-) P.S. never got the emails you said you sent, i can post a sreenshot if i need to :-) Also, you have to remember I get over 250 to 400 emails a day. Even with that many I'm pretty damn quick. Each shipment gets emailed a tracking number, if you don't get an email when it ships it's b/c of 2 reasons, the shipment email UPS or Stamps.com (USPS) hit your spam folder or you typed your e-mail wrong in the order, itself happens all the time. I take my service pretty seriously I'm the only ecig supplier I think that has same day shipping if items are ordered before 3pm central time or i give a 50% off if it does not ship the same day. I have never had to do it, the team here is on top of things everything goes out on time or the same day. I believe I'm also the only one that has a UPS option for overnight shipping ! your a witness to that, after all you got it the very next day :-) Chris i will always help you out :-) Thanks Parked
