Soberrider Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 I just got my bottle of VG base Virginia Flue Cured from Americaneliquidstore.com and I have to say it has a strong chemical tase that is a big turn off. Looks like another one that will have to set a while before I try it again and see how much it changes.
Breal Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Yeah, I wonder about that sometimes... I've seen that, especially when juices are fresh. On most occasions, it goes away after a few days.. or sometimes after a couple of weeks! I wonder where that comes from.. the flavoring, maybe?
Soberrider Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 I sure hope this one changes cause its a 60ml bottle. I got it at a great price but its too nasty to use as is.
Breal Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Maybe let it steep a while with the lid off. I agree! I've had juices that taste nothing like what they claimed to be at first--I mean Nothing--and then,... after a week.. it just comes Alive. Like a totally different juice! Definitely take the cap off.. let it air in a dark cool place. The hardest part of that is being patient, but it's well worth it.
Soberrider Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 Yah I think I'll leave it set with the lid off for this bottle and see what happens. I've had a couple others that have changed over time.
kitsune Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 if steeping doesnt work, There's always DIY. Great way to fix flavors that just don't work.
Soberrider Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 It still tastes like a scientific experiment went terribly wrong.
bamsbbq Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Try a warm water bath. It seems to work for my liquids. http://eliquidrecipebook.wordpress.com/ Sent from my SPH-M820-BST using Tapatalk

Soberrider Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 I tried that last night and it seems to smell a bit different. I wish I had words to describe the taste of it but I just don't. At least its not as bad as it was in the begining.
