Brian Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 No kidding! What are yall paying p/gallon out in CA? Regular is $3.80 here. My truck only gets about 15-16 MPG and I have to fill up every other day.
Jeffb Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 I pay about $4.50 a gallon. Supposed to be over $5 soon. Luckily I fill up every 2 weeks.
BirdDog Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Just filled my tank. $3.15/gallon for regular unleaded. I Don't even bother to look at the premium.
blucavvy Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) you all know that unless your'e driving a highly modified car or a lamborghini, premium gasoline is useless right? stick with 87 or 89. you don't need higher octane unless your'e using nitrous or a HIGHLY modified engine. and no, premium will not "help" your car longevity unless as stated you are driving a car that has a lot of modifications or your manufacturer specifically recommends it. Jeffb Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 Gas price in San Francisco. My friend took this pic yesterday
Mike Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Be prepaired to pay the premium price for regular by summer time. Last I checked regular was still under 3.70 around here but that may not be the case today.
kitsune Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 We are sitting at 4.25 ish....varies day to day. glad I don't live in frisco !!!!
Uma Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 SF is that much now? That's bad news for us in TouristVilleCounty. We're always higher than the "highest priced place in the country". (the news never covers the true highest places). Their excuse? "It's because we are in between barges and it has to be driven in". What's SF's excuse? We avg $600.00 per month on gas when hubby takes his motorcycle to work to save gas.
LSUTigerFan67 Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 It has gone up 20 to 30 cents a gallon over the past 3 weeks here. Currently we are paying around $3.57 a gallon in Baton Rouge.
