Mike Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Below are descriptions of 2 different sweeteners sold at BlueMist vapors but can be found in many other places. I purchaced these for experimenting but haven't tried them yet.: This is a diluted liquid sucralose, commonly sold under the brand name Splendex , at a ratio of 3 parts ethyl alcohol to 1 part sucralose. The reason for the dilution is simple- otherwise a single drop of the pure stuff is too much for a batch of juice! With this diluted mixture, you can easily flavor your DIY eliquids, or sweeten up a flavor that's just a bit too tart or flat. One quarter ounce vial of dry ethyl maltol powder. This is the main ingredient in "cotton candy" flavors, and is often added to tobacco flavoring to mellow the flavor. On it's own, it can best be described as a sweet, very slightly caramelized spun sugar. This is best dissolved in either pure grain alcohol or a small amount of PG before adding it to your final mix so that it blends properly.
