Anyone Ever Have A Cartomizer Do This?(Strange Cursed Carto)

Recommended Posts

So i got some boge SR cartos from ivape on a trade and one of them is working very strangely.

I have tried it on 3 devices with the same results

Screw it down tight - nothing

Back it off a little - fires

Start inhaling - cuts off

It seems it has to be screwed in just right for it to not cut off while i am taking a hit. When it works it works fine...its not shorted out because it fires. I have pulled the post and readjusted the pin on my buzz with the same results.

On my buzz the led shows blue when fired, it fires, i start to take a drag and it goes red and doesn't fire, move my lips away and it starts firing again.

Do i have a cursed cartomizer?

I had a Boge LR do that this past week. It was causing my Provari to shut off. The ohms tested out fine. I would get a hit or two and then it would shut the unit down. Remove and replace the battery, get a hit or two and it would shut down. The carto was a week old though, so worked fine for a week. I thought it odd also that the ohms checked out fine.

wholy **** that sucks bob, i hope you get it figured out man. it is just a standard 510 carto right? reason i ask is i know like the Blu ecig stuff is reverse compatible, it's the same threading as a 510 but the polarity is reversed. something like that could probably kill a pv pretty quick.

Now my buzz pro will not fire anything. If this carto screwed up my BP I'm gonna be real angry.

Thankfully i have an og buzz to back it up.

It's a bit risky but you can gently unscrew the top cap to check

and see if the ground is tight on the side and if the positive wire

is connected to the screw and not touching the body.

I had 1 small issue with my BP and it was the hot wire.

It wasn't tight enough on the screw center post.

Since I tightened that up just a bit,no more probs.

Nope. I checked already. When i take the top cap off it fired blue...as soon as the cap touches the threads it goes red and makes a strange buzz(yeah i know lol)noise. I already sent mike a PM.

It might just be the ground screw but i won't be home until Monday to try and fix it.
