Battery Issue, Maybe?

I'm charging my AW18650 batteries on the Trustfire 001 charger, and it's making a high pitched whining/ buzzing noise?

Is this normal or should I toss the battery? It's only a week old.

if your other charger does it then its your battery. if you just got it then contact company for a new one.

Mine does that - it has from day one. It usually does it when the battery is completely drained, and then stops after the battery has built up a little charge.

As I understand it, this is completely normal for this kind of charger.

Yep both my TR-001 chargers do that with most of my batts.

That is normal for those chargers.

I have had 2 of them do it. The only chargers I've had to do it when batteries are completely drained are Ego chargers but they stop after awhile.

I just got one of these... (Trustfire charger with IMR 18650 batt)

Is it normal for the light to stay red even after hours of charging?

I'm pretty sure the battery is fully charged already.

Only time it turns green after charging is when I pop the second battery in.

Found it kinda odd... and annoying...

Batteries and battery chargers that make noise, seriously? If 18650s or my Tenergy charger ever did that they would never have survived. Glad to know that this is 'normal' .

The trustfire chargers are crap. I am on my second one now and they have both had that annoying noise. On my first one they chord actually blew up. It was nothing too serious just a spark and some smoke luckily i was there to unplug it. The bad part of it is that I know 2 other people this has happend too so I only put my battery on charge now when I am awake.

crap i wish i could have seen this post earlier before i made a new thread, I found this link on google trying to search for this problem as well. Looks like im buying a new charger.
