Viper Ron Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Would it be in my best interest if I wanted to try vv vaping to start out with a eGo booster before buying a bigger mod device? Please post your opinions. Thanks VR
mega Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 aint the booster about same price? Last one i seen was like $65. but i could be wrong.
Viper Ron Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 Don,t forget I would need batterys, charger, etc....
mega Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) heres a vv for 29.99 if ya got a 510 charger just get the adapter for like $5 and that will work. better than almost 70 for a booster and not like it. http://indyvaporshop...ah-bat1000.html Edited February 17, 2012 by mega
Viper Ron Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 Just saying I now have like 10 eGo batts so I'm covered there. I saw it on sale for $59 and it goes up to 4.7v.
Jeffb Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Here's a whole VV kit for $59. http://www.apolloecigs.com/product_p/atube.htm
Viper Ron Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 I've heard mixed reviews on the Apollo, would rather spend the extra on a true LT if that was the case.
Jeffb Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 They are the same. Volcano just rebrands them with the name Lavatube. I have seen mixed reviews on the Lavatube also. I would say if you want to give VV vaping a try buy an actual VV unit not a "selectable voltage " unit that only has 3 settings. The eGo booster looks interesting http://vulcanvape.myshopify.com/collections/batteries/products/ego-booster but it just seems like a lot of money for a VV module that wont take you above 4.7Volts. Come on Ron, break out the credit card and get a Provari!!!!

mega Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 you have a good point Jeff, I really didnt see it that way but your right what iif I want 3.9v or 4.2 etc. maybe ill look into the apollo, or better yet learn how to use potenizers and stuff to make one.
Jeffb Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 This one looks interesting. Haven't seen any reviews yet. http://www.notcigs.com/vvpv-1/
Viper Ron Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 Maybe your right Jeff I should save up for the Provari
Brian Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Just FYI - I've heard that people get much better performance from the LT if they get good batteries instead of the stock batteries that come with it.
Brian Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 This one looks interesting. Haven't seen any reviews yet. http://www.notcigs.com/vvpv-1/ I really really really want one of these. Tax refund due in soon - may be my first new mod since I got the Provari. LOL!
