Uma Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Kenny just uploaded a video on youtube on how to make a Dual Coil Carto work on a VV pv, such as the LavaTube, Provari, Darwin... Easy Peasy:
Deadpool809 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I don't claim to be an expert on the inner workings of a carto, but if you clip that wire, aren't you killing one of the coils? If you do that, why not just buy a single coil in the first place?
Jeffb Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Thank you Deadpool for putting into words exactly what I was thinking
Viper Ron Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 After hearing about a guys face being blown off I ain't building a mod cutting a wire or doing anything to these devices that wasn't originally manufactured! Vacker1229 and Jeffb 2
Uma Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 He figured out hoew to use what we have on hand. A lot of vapers switched over to DCC's on their 3,7's before purcasing their VV's. Yes it cuts the ohm back so u can actually vape a surplus DCC. posted from my wannabe smartphone
Deadpool809 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I suppose, but just because I got a VV (a non regulating one), doesn't mean I don't use my old Leo. I still think the best option is to just use the DCCs in what works, and buy new single coils for the VV. If you've got $100 to drop on a mod, a few bucks for some cartos shouldn't be a major deal.
Uma Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 I agree, however, for those times that we are out of the one we need, it's good to know we can modify (hopefully safely.... ) Stock up stock up stock up
Uma Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 zoom obviously didn't work in this forum or I would have noticed all the misspelltted words. Sorry.
lacy Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I'm confused, I use a long 510 4xl twin 4ml 2.5 cartomizer on my Lt. Should I not be using it?
