twelveday Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Currently wanting to tryout some other atomizers. My Joyetech LR ones finally died out on me. I was doing some research and wandered across these http://www.avidvaper.com/categories/Atomizers/Cisco-Spec-1.5ohm-Low-Resistance-Atomizers-/ For a 20$+ atomizer it seems way overpriced, but the description says the quality is supposed to be fantastic, I was wondering if anyone has tried these and how long they lasted you. Also are there any good debridged atomizers you can buy out there?, trying to find an atty that doesnt give u that surprise mouthful of disgusting metal taste. What is your preferred atomizer for direct dripping?
kitsune Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I have only ever used 510's-standard and LR, bridge or no bridge (remove myself), always remove the wick. Will be interesting to find out what else is out there.
twelveday Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 yeah, im hoping somebody out there has found a more user friendlyish one, or at least one that can take a beating. I know theres a ton of people out there that use the joye 510 LR atomizers regularly, ive gone through 4 of them in the past 3 months, and ive followed tutorial on how to take care of them and how to use them for each one, and even debridged two of them myself but for some reason mine keep dying prematurely, or get a rancid metal burn taste that wont go away. The hh37 looks interesting and from what I read is pretty decent but the price is kind of ridiculous
bobthesalesclerk Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Just use the Cisco spec 306. They actually last a fair ammount of time. I have been using the same one with vg liquid for 2 monthsnow and its going strong. sent from my Ice Cream Sandwiched Gtablet
mcquinn Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I have found Joye 306 standard resistance to be a must have .Awesome for trying out new eliquid or just having something different without commiting a carto. They come with thier own drip tip and the price is right. For some reason they tolerate liquid changes real well without very much flavor carryover.
mega Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 i love my boge 2.5ohn ones. i got 3 plus 5 carts for 16 bucks plus ship

I ordered a pair, gona try them out

If you are using ego batteries maybe get the 1.8. sent from my Ice Cream Sandwiched Gtablet
kitsune Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Nice !!! Thanks guys, May have to break down and try something new. OK, mcquinn...noobie question What is the threading on the 306....compatible with the 510 or need an adapter....Everything I own is 510.
twelveday Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 the 306 , from the site i linked says its 510 threading, and it comes with 2 atomizers, and a 306 drip tip. I got the 1.8 ones
profbeard Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The 306 has the same fitting as a 510 but you will need a306 drip tip. I use Cisco 1.5ohm 306s and really like them. In my view the best of the HH.357 atties is actually the 901/306 hybrid, but you would need a 510 to 901 adapter for that.
kitsune Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Thanks Twelveday and Prof. Time to give it a try.
Saabdrifter Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I got a HH357 in on a trade. I was skeptical at first, that is until I tried it. I holds way more juice than a regular atty. I have been using cartos for months and the change back has been great. So I had to order a couple more. I like the longer version, the short version makes very warm vapor. If they last as long as people say they do, they will be worth the extra cost.
bobthesalesclerk Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Thanks Twelveday and Prof. Time to give it a try. You shouldnt be disappointed. The draw and vapor production is superior on the 306 compared to the 510 IMO. sent from my Ice Cream Sandwiched Gtablet
blucavvy Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/store/66-atomizers/70-low-resistance/445-joye-lr-306.html what's the difference between this 306 atty and the $10 a piece ones linked in this thread previously? is there a difference between the joye 306 atty's and the cisco 306? i'm asking cuz i don't drip at all, but it's something i'd like to try. thanks!
Jeffb Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I have never used a cisco atty but from my understanding they have a higher quality nichrome wire in the atty and burn better. I only have a Joye 306 which I haven't used in over a year. I need to pick up a drip tip for it and give it a go again. I do remeber it produced loads of vapor.
bobthesalesclerk Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I don't think i am going to buy another atomizer until i can afford the vv reo. Atomizers are just to leaky for me. sent from my Ice Cream Sandwiched Gtablet
twelveday Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 just got my 306s and i love em, Do wish i had a drip shield though, but performace of the atomizer is awesome, can taste the flavor difference from using cartos alot recently
