blucavvy
So far i see the joyetech ego-c, the innokin 510-t, the innokin lea, and the innokin leo pro. First thing i've noticed is they all seem to only have a roughly 1ml tank, correct? For those of you that own them, how do you like them? In theory they should be great as they pretty much eliminate the need for dripping. How are these atty's working out for people? Personally i'm a carto type person because, well just because i never really could get the hang of dripping. Pbusardo seems to be just kind of on the fence about all these, with the 510-t seeming to be the least favorite (not enough th or battery life) which could be expected based on a slim 510 battery. The leo has now switched it's battery's from their proprietary battery threading (which was monstrous) to the much smaller (although obviously much more compatible) 510 threading. The ego-c and the leo pro seem to get the better reviews from pbusardo at this point. So, how are they working for anyone that owns one. I'm pretty satisfied with my standard innokin and boge leo batts and cartos, and all my 808's at this point but i am curious to learn more about these new tank systems (new meaning they're not the carto/tank systems that have been around for awhile now). and speaking of that, how do they match up against the carto/tank systems? obviously the "tanks" are MUCH smaller and need to be refilled more often which is a huge minus imho. Jeffb
I've had the eGo-C for a couple of months now and Im happy with it. I use it all day at work. I dont get the flavor and satisfaction that I get from direct dripping, but it satisfies my cravings at work and the batt lasts all day and then some. Its a very simple device to use. I would recommend it to noobies.
blucavvy
i just got a leo-510 adaptor, so i'm gonna pick up a innokin 510t atomizer and some tanks and give this whole tank/atty thing a shot!
blucavvy
alright, i got my atty's and tanks in, is there like a break in period for atty's or something? i've only taken about 3 or 4 hits but everyone of them has tasted horrible. is my atty not getting juice from the tank or something? it's kickin out tons of vapor just tastes absolutely horrible, i'm using a good 555 juice so i know it's not the juice. after i filled the tank and fit it onto the "spiked atty" i let it sit for 5 or 10 mins to let the juice soak onto the atty's coil. should i have dripped a few drops directly onto the atty first? i'm at a loss, this is kind of y i always just go back to carto's lol
Viper Ron
Sometimes the attys are soaked with primer and needs to be blown out...just a thought
blucavvy
i read around and it seems "primer puffs" are sometimes needed, tried it and the sweet taste of 555 came through, this might just actually work out
blucavvy
well, i've been vaping on it for a bit and i've found that it's not bad, not bad at all, but not great either. the vape quality to me, at least when compared to a 1.5ohm dcc, is not as great. but it's not bad. now we'll see how long this atty actually lasts, that'll determine whether i stick with the carto's or order some more atty's/tanks. my biggest complaint so far is that if i don't take a primer puff occassionally i get a nasty dry hit, and i'm not a fan of that at all. Viper Ron
Was never a tank fan, tried it once and only once.....lol
Mike
I used the eGo with a cylnder shaped atty and larger tank for months. I think it held more than 2 cc of juice. I have the eGo C setup now and it has a smaller tank so I have to refill more often. I used to go 9 hr. work day without refilling but now have to fill at lunch and before the drive home usually. The 1000mah bat always lasts me all day. Even though I fill more often I like the eGo C better. It is more comfortable on the lips than the wider whistle tip and seems to perform a little bit better. And the heating coils are more convienent and cheaper than buying a new cone/cylinder atty all the time. I never thought I would do anything other than drip untill the tank came out. Now I don't want to ever drip again. Also, I've tried cartos and that ain't for me either. The only improvemet I want on eGo C is a larger capacity tank so I only fill it once in the morning when a pop on a fresh battery.
