jtphenom
Hey did you fine folks know that the eGo 5-click manual batteries have a cutoff?? I just discovered that. It's probably about 15 seconds or so. I will hold the button down while taking 3 or 4 back-to-back long drags, and it cuts off after a while. mcquinn
Most batteries that are not mods do have cutoffs for overcurrent, undervoltage or time.

kitsune
ya, most do have some kind of cut off...which for me is good...helps keep from burning up my attys.
nana
Since I just bought some new eGo batteries, I had to check this out. I do not like cutoffs on my batteries, so was hoping this wasn't right. It is. Except when I checked mine, the cutoff is more like 7 seconds.
kitsune
The cutoff seems to vary on all of mine, I have found the cut off doesn't really affect my vaping and I take fairly long draws.
jtphenom
Nana, 7 seconds is a pretty long draw. Is it really going to hurt your vaping experience?
jtphenom
Also, with my eGo batteries, you can immediately push the button again. But, as kitsune alluded to, you could burn out your atty if you're not careful. What's the mah rating on your batts? I got the eGo 1000 mah batteries... kitsune
I have 600, 900 and 1000....had to try one of each. honestly I use the 900 the most...lasts all day for me and just charge at night...then again, I do have backup and backups for my backups. Atty's do get pretty hot when hit too long and often, I do let them cool a bit when they get that hot...I don't use the ego cone. I prefer knowing how hot my attys get. Yes I am an atty girl...haven't been able to make cartos work for me. work great in my tube tank however.
nana
My batteries are the 650s and 7 seconds isn't bad...I just don't like to be "told" when to stop. Okay, I may be a bit stubborn, but I'm getting old and like getting my own way. jtphenom, kitsune and Brian
