jtphenom
Hey folks. I just got my eGo deluxe kit from mtbakervapor, and I'm trying to figure out how to assemble it properly. It came with dual-coil cartos, and the cones as well. I thought you were supposed to put on the carto, and then slide the cone down over the carto and screw it in place. Isn't that right? It wouldn't work any other way! But when I put the carto on, I put the cone down over and screwed it in place. Then when I went to take the cone off, I stripped some of the coating off the carto! What am I doing wrong??
Jeffb
You are doing it right. Some cartos have a wide diameter that will get hung up on the cone.
jtphenom
So I pretty much have to deal with the cone stripping the finishing off the cartomizer?
kitsune
Just like Jeff said.....The cone is really an optional item for appearance...if its too snug, you can always leave the cone off. personal preference,I never use the cones anymore. Jeffb
Attys dont have this issue. One of the many reasons that attys are so much better than cartos. kitsune and jtphenom
Viper Ron
The stainless steel ones won't do this seeing they have no paper wrapping.
bobthesalesclerk
Also boge cartos fit without stripping. Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet GPurv
JonHitThingWithRock
dual coil carto's tend to have a tighter draw than boge's or atomizers, so the cone isn't really necessary, i haven't used mine in some time GPurv
