Erika Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 praise the lord! The rain has stopped and it's snowing here in Ohio:) I love it!
mcquinn Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Same here in Richmond In .About an inch on the grass and it is starting to stick to the pavement.I think I prefer the rain,I don't have to shovel it.
Brian Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 We're just suppose to get some flurries here in WV.
Erika Posted November 30, 2011 Author Posted November 30, 2011 i don't much like to shovel but it sure beats the doom and gloom of the rain we have had for the last few days. puts me in a much better mood. thankful for a garage so my car stays nice and dry:)
mcquinn Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I knew there had to be some reason people lived there.I am however starting to see the wisdom in that "Snowbird" lifestyle.
Mike Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 We got our "snowstorm" last month before Halloween. It's been t-shirt weather ever since-- 65 degrees. 2nd warmest November ever in Southern New England.
Uma Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 As long as my CJ Jeep with her 4" risers can clear the path without deadpanning it, I much prefer the snow. I hate shoveling mud, muck, water bars and ditches! Glad your rain subsided Erica!
noXious Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 We're just suppose to get some flurries here in WV. Dunno why but I was always under the impression you were in the midwest - ha, learning something new everyday.
kitsune Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Now, It's Our turn...really cold and plenty of white stuff. I hate the cold and snow !!!
Brian Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Dunno why but I was always under the impression you were in the midwest - ha, learning something new everyday. LOL! Don't know why you would think that. I'm an Army Brat - born at Ft. Benning, GA. Raised in South Carolina, Texas, New Jersey, Texas again, Germany and Kentucky/Tennessee. I claim Tennessee as my home as that's where my Dad decided to stay when he retired (even though I've been in WV for over 11 years now).
noXious Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Yea I don't know how or why I had that notion in my head. You've certainly been around the block a time or two. And noooo I'm not implying you're a digging, gardening tool
bzeisman Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 here in garmisch, germany; this time last year, there was a foot of snow on the ground. now, its bright sunny weather. still cold outside, but no snow. must have brought the sunny weather with me from the states (shhhhhhhhhhhhh.............dont tell the germans that :P)
kitsune Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 And its still snowing.....anybody want to come shovel snow....
nana Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 You don't have much time left to see snow, kitsune. Pretty soon you'll be basking in the sunshine all the time. <big sigh> Started snowing at 6 this morning here. And it's still snowing.
kitsune Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I'm all for a lack of seasons and plenty of warm weather year 'round. seasons are over rated...
Mike Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Strange whether continues here. Normally the temp drops well below freezing at night but tonight it is rising. What would have been a couple of inches of snow is a warm light rain. It would be nice for a white Christmas but other than that, I'm not complaining. I would take 55 degrees all year long.
IanVape Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 I live in Canada, and on Dec16, there is still no sign of snow! Looks like it's going to be a green Christmas for us up North
kitsune Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 colorado still has a little snow on the ground, but snow on the ground means its still cold.
BirdDog Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 colorado still has a little snow on the ground, but snow on the ground means its still cold. It either needs to snow again or all this dry crusty stuff needs to go. Looks like we might have a warm up for the weekend.
Viper Ron Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Here it's been unseasonably warm for December and not much snow at all! I know we are running out of luck tho :p
BirdDog Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Winter storm warning! A bit excited, but not really. I will still have to work in the morning. lol
