modagimp
I just got a Joye Ego with the Dual Coil MAP tank (friend suggested it), and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I watched the video from Elixir on how to use/fill/etc. but for some reason I keep getting a leak out of the bottom of the tank. It leaks down to the battery, and if I unscrew the battery, there is a little pool of eliquid collecting there. What am I doing wrong? Is the carto pushed in far enough? Is it a faulty seal? Thanks! bass-n-vape
could be a problem with your bottom o ring maybe. if your self punching the carto make sure your not making the holes too big and also try turning the tank around the other way and see if it still does it. Brian
Is it leaking from the actual tank or out the bottom of the cartomizer?
modagimp
I have looked into it more and figured out specifically where/how it is leaking. It is leaking from the bottom of the carto where the battery attaches. It leaks out when I am pushing the carto into the top plug of the tank after filling it. The leak is more than a few drops (which seems to be pretty normal). After it's put back together and flush at the top, the leaking will stop and I can vape from it fine. The carto I got was the one that came pre-punched from MAP. Any ideas? Brian
There's a small tube down the center of the carto. If it gets juice in it then it will run out the bottom. After I fill a carto I'll hold a napkin over the battery end and gently blow through it to get any lose juice out. That usually keep it from leaking.
