Bought My First E-Cig Today!

I purchased a Vogue start up kit today at the tobacco shop at my local mall today. I have to say, I am pretty impressed so far. I do not have to deal with any liquid, it just has a cartomizer that screws into the battery. One question I do have though, and this may be just because I am not used to it yet, but is it normal for "new" E-cigs to taste funny (kind of gross) until they are "broken in"? I am currently using an 18 mg tobacco cartomizer.

Thanks so much, I am completely ignorant to all of this!!!

Not normally with prefilled carto's ,cartridges sometimes do because of primer liquid in the atty. You will soon find that the prefilled's are not cost effective and want buy a bottle of liquid to refill. If you are enjoying vaping you would be ahead of the game to go ahead and switch to a Joye ,DSEor Kanger system, you will very soon be asking for help trying to figure out what brand you really have so you can purchase parts.Carto's will get a burnt plastic taste when they get dry.As you may have noticed it was not even close to a pack or two of analogs.I go through two refillable carto's and 20 to 30 ml of liquid a week.

How long have you been using the cartomiser? It should have been ok at first. If you can afford it you will be way happier in the long run with the Ego and some Boge cartomisers. And some Dulcis .

If the cartos you bought are anything like the ones I've bought, they will be hit and miss. I've already gotten several that were dry when I got them, and neither the store or the company wants to do anything about it.

Your best bet is gonna be to get online and order some liquid. Blue Mist's Robacco Menthol is very good.
