bananabic Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I'm using a cartomizer from Liquidxpress.com and noticed that the amount of air flow rate decreased. It feels like I'm sucking on a straw dipped in triple thick milkshake. Is there too much juice in my cartomizer? I don't know what's causing this.
Christopher Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 How long have you been using the cartomizer? If it's older than a week toss it out. If it's new, you may wish to remove it, and blow out any excess liquid that's stuck in the center of the cartomizer. (Through the button or top)
BirdDog Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I have experienced the cartomizers to gum up faster or get that tight draw a lot sooner when using a liquid with a higher content of VG. Christopher 1
Viper Ron Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I saw somewhere where someone mentioned using pipe cleaning wire to clean the middle tube of the cartos. Seems like a good idea and thinking about picking up some myself Sorry I don't know what they are really called!
DAYVAPE Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 You can also use a paperclip to align the airflow tube again... usually works for me. DarthVaper 1
maverick Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Agreed. Have a couple of paperclips for this purpose. Run it through the battery end while wiggling it around a little. Sometimes this will actually move the vertical wire just a bit and it will hit better than new. Vaping and carto's = must have paperclips. DarthVaper and DAYVAPE 2
jnnfrlsw Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 my cartos start getting harder to draw by the 4-5th day of using it. Sooner if your juice is thicker. To keep that just new carto feel I change out to a new carto every other day. They are cheap enough for me to do that. Jeffb 1
mcquinn Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I look through mine and if I cannot see light at the end of the tunnel a paper clip will usually open it back up and align things.I think it usually gets that way when I vape it a little too dry and things get too hot and melt. Christopher 1

That's actually a great tip. It never crossed my mind to clean out the center area with a paper clip. +1
