bananabic
I'm looking to buy an eGo PT with some low resistance cartomizers. I was told not to use LRs on my 510, but can the eGo handle them?
BirdDog
Yes, you can use them on the eGo batteries. I have used them both on the 650 mah and on the eGo tank PT battery. The LR's use more energy and will drain the power from the battery quicker than using a standard atomizer or cartomizer.

xgregx
Boge 2.0 or smoktech 1.5 dual coil clearomizers both work great on my ego 650mah and 900mah batteries. They also work great on my ego PT. Vape On!
frosting
You can, I have been. I'm planning to get a couple 1100MAH replacement battery though. With LR anything my standard 650MAH eGo batteries still last a good 6-8 hours depending on use, but if I used regular I'm sure I'd be a bit longer. xgregx
The LR Cartos will deplete the ego batteries faster. But an ego with an LR carto still lasts longer than a 510 with a standard atomizer.
cheshyl
The eGo is a great pv. lr attys or cartos will drain your battery quicker and if you start to use the dual-coil you will cut your battery time in half (I have found). But it is worth it, flavor and vapor, can't beat it. Good luck on your journey.

DAYVAPE
I have been using good ol Boge LR cartos on a 650mah USB battery at work for nearly a year and a half now. Works for me. Uma and rolexblade
Uma
The eGo PT just keeps vaping and vaping and vaping. I've never had a problem with mine either. You're good to go. Happy Vaping!!!!
DMIAvaper
i use ego 650's with LR Boges 2.0 and Smoktech dual coils @ 1.5. Awesome. I like them both and the only preference between them really lies in the juice that you use. some juice seems to just get better flavor with one compared to the other. Some sites do say that you can't use eGo batteries with the dual coils? Not sure why, have never had a problem with them.
Saabdrifter
I only do LR. My eGos and Riva batteries are all fine.

I think it means more along the lines that it will surely 'shorten the lifespan of the eGo battery'. That's how I'm reading it anyway...
