Seems to be a part for a Mod PV, different from an eGo.

I don't see a schematic at the link you posted but I believe

you can use it.

you will probly only need the Vin, Vout, Switch and Ground legs.

Maybe Frank or others will know for sure

Honestly don't know, but madvapes has a 5 pin that is used for variable voltage.

It's a 5 volt regulator used for building mods. Yes, you can make you own ecig.
