tmatt1206
I have the 801 and after a few vapes the atomizer gets hot to the touch, what can I do to get more vapes before it gets hot again?
Brian
Atomizers get hot. I'm not aware of anything you can do other than let it cool down a little. You tend to get more leaking if you hotbox it and get it very hot.
noXious
I tend to chain vape which does cause the atty to remain very hot for long periods of time if I don't somehow cool it. What I do is suck air through, without firing the battery. This works very well, free of charge and requires nothing extra. It will also help to pull some of the pooled juice back up into the atty for vaping .. yea
Christopher
801/Penstyle atomizers are the first generation atomizers. They tend to get pretty hot when you vape a lot. Not much you can do other than set it down and let it cool a little.
mcquinn
You can have two rigs set up with complimenting flavors and just switch off. Will also help keep your tastebuds from getting aclimated and the flavor diminishing.Sometimes when an atty gets carboned up you end up keeping them energised longer to get a decent vape and they will get real hot.Time for a new atty when that happens as they usually don't clean well. Not to say you shouldn't try cleaning before chucking it though. This is what I do. I always have two (at least)PVs set up and switch between them when one gets hot.
