MafiaXTS
I am so frustrated right now. Yesterday I ordered the SafeCig Deluxe Kit and and hour later I discover this forum. Realizing that a non cig looking PV would be much more of an asset, I attempt to cancel. To my amazement there is no customer service by phone, email only. Of course no one has replied to my requests to cancel and I'm almost positive that I will be stuck with returning the product with an attached %25 restocking fee. Great. I suppose it will give me time to search for a new PV. Right now I'm leaning toward an Omega with a J-Tank as far FV mods go. As far as AV Mods I have been eyeing the Joker AV and the Buzz Pro. Also looking at the Pro Vari and was wondering if is worth the extra $50? Do any of you have opinions on these or alternate recommendations? mcquinn
Try getting a hold of your credit card company and see if they can help.I would sugest an Ego or Joye 510 Mega kit with cartomisers.
Brian
Welcome to Vapor Talk! Honestly, I would start with an eGo kit before jumping into mods. The eGo is quite versatile and has good battery life. With the standard 510 connection, you have many choices for atomizers/cartomizers. Get through the learning curve and see what works for you before jumping into a mod. Once you're ready for a mod, having the eGo batteries for backup is a good thing. With a mod, if something fails, you're out of luck until you can get it repaired or buy something else. I love my Provari so for me, yes it's worth the extra $50. But it depends on what you like. The Provari is quite heavy compared to the Buzz and the Joker. The Provari actually weighs more than the Silver Bullet and Omega.
Kingbtheone
i dissagree! spend the $$$ up front so you dont keep" chasing the dragon" looking for the best PV i recommend the Provari or buzz pro with the VV options so you can tune in to your liking.... im happy with my screwdriver, but would love a VV option Edited August 16, 2011 by Kingbtheone
nana
I agree with getting the eGo first. I have a few different mods, but still love using my eGo, too. It's less expensive and yet you can try out all the different attys, cartos, tanks, etc., until you find what works best for you. Then go into the more expensive mods. There is always something new and different to try so you won't run of "toys" to get, but the best place to start is the eGo.
MafiaXTS
Customer service just updated me and they will not be shipping the safecig. I'm so thankful for this community saving me from their proprietary system! Thank you all for the suggestions. The only thing that I am worried about with the eGo is that government regulations may be put into place that prevent me from buying eGo batteries, while mods use batteries that can be purchased any where. Maybe I'm just being paranoid haha. I've replaced my other habits by vaping with an Arizer Extreme Q and have been looking for an attachment that would allow me to vape juice. Not sure if it exists. I also haven't decided on a PV but I'm pretty sure I'll go with a mod. I been obsessively researching and there are too many cool machines I'm sure I won't able to limit myself to one. VapahMan
The eGO as a starter? That's a lot of vape. I would stick to something smaller like a 510.
