Batteries

Hi all, new to the forum & vaping & have some questions.

I've done some research before I decided to go with joye 510. I am really happy with it overall & have been off tobacco for over 4 months now. I was doing some research on catomizers vs. atomizers & was watching youtube videos & noticed some poeple using the super sized battery. It actually looks thicker than a cigar. I cannot seem to locate these types of batteries & see if they are compatible with the 510. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks! :)

The batteries you see them using is probably the eGo. It does have the 510 setting. http://www.foreverva...s/Joye-eGo.html

If you just buy the batteries and not a kit you will need to buy the charger for the eGo. The 510 standard battery charger will not work.

The batteries for the eGo really are not that big. A bit fat yes, but you will be surprised at how small they are.

Well if it is bigger than a cigar it may be a custom ecig or "mod" which is the slang. There are many mods out there with varying price ranges. I would suggest if you were thinking of moving up to a battery with a longer life between charges is to go with an eGo. It accepts 510 and 306 attys and cartos.

You just need the battery and charger. You might want to add the cone, it finishes off the look of the eGo. The cone tightens up the draw a bit and is really just for aesthetics but it is nice to have. You can use the eGo with or without the cone.

Maybe I overestimated the size....check it out..this is what I saw.

The mod he is using in the video looks like the Silver Bullet. It is a large battery mod tube. You buy the batteries separate. I don't recommend getting a mod unless you plan on doing this for the long haul. The eGo should get you going with the extended battery life and will give you the options to test out all the different type of atomizers, cartomizers and tanks out there on the market.

It does look like a Silver Bullet. It's actually bigger than a cigar, but it doesn't take long to get used to. It's a really terrific mod. The batteries last at least all day long and it does use the 510 attys, too.

It's been a long time since I've had a regular 510 battery, but I don't think the eGo is double the size. It is slightly taller and might be almost twice as big in circumference, but not quite. It's still a very nice fit - and can easily be concealed - in the hand.

A regular cigarette is roughly 1/4” in diameter. An eGo battery is about twice as big at 1/2”.

From the battery to the end of the cone, the eGo is about as long as a regular cigarette. Add on a drip tip, and it’s that much longer. Maybe it’s as long as a 100.
