joe2003 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Always have to be the odd man out lol My new echo 808 threaded 1300mah auto batt is workin out real nice Heavy 1
Christopher Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 Hey nothing wrong with that Though I think in this round, the manual battery wins lol
Tony_C Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Manual, first ecig i tried was disposable with auto batt...didn't like the cut-off on it, next purchase was a 510 and it was either manual or auto (with cut off again). Also people were complaining about automatic activating from being jarred, or in loud environments, so I got manual. Can't say anything bad about automatic, but don't think I'd want to change now.
mcquinn Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Auto would be good if they weren't so prone to getting ruined.I amusing 14500's as my main battery these days.Good balance of price and capacity.
ChainsawMBH Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I use both. I have been using my Halo G6 Automatics more but I always carry a manual with me as a backup.
DerStadtschutz Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I mostly use my megalodon. It's not technically a manual battery, but it is a manual device. I still use my blu/volcano batteries and atties/cartos every now and then, though, so I use both. I'm predominantly manual.
Heavy Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 I have both: Echo auto 1300 mAh and eGo 900 mAh (808 threads)manual and I like them both. I also have some of the "stick" style 808's as backups.
bear Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I never had good luck with auto batteries.I now have manual devices and like the control I have with them.
Heavy Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I havent had any bad luck with the autos, of course I've only been vaping for about three months, so maybe time will tell. The Echo 1300 mah battery is very nice, but it's not made in a manual - yet. Hopefully it will be. I like it more than my eGo 900 mah manual battery - 808 threads - just because of length of time between charges.
Mike Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) Both. But most of my stuff is manual. Is the Halo G6 a kr808? Edited May 7, 2012 by Mike

But most of my stuff is manual. Is the Halo G6 a kr808? yes the g6 is an 808. same thing as your volt.
Heavy Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I have the same thing, not by Smokeless Image though, cheaper price. (I find SI prices outrageous) http://www.smoktek.c...nual_p_162.html But I still prefer the Echo 1300 mAh battery http://www.smoktek.c...ttery_p_77.html They last longer between charges.
Heavy Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 On the smokeless image page they only have a 900 mAh available, again, too expensive.
blucavvy Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 there are discount codes available. i was mainly just trying to show you that the echo is not the only 808 threaded fat batt. the echo, 808 threaded eGo, (whatever it is that si sells), and i believe the vGo is 808 threaded as well, or maybe it was the gogo. it's not that hard to find a manual 808 threaded fat batt is what i was trying to say.
Heavy Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I hear ya, and agree with you, but I have yet to find a 1300 mAh battery in a manual configuration. You forgot about the IGO. whatever that is:)
twelveday Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 i use both too, i prefer manual mods, but automatic sticks
danpio1217 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 To me, it really doesn't matter if it's automatic or manual, i just need great battery life. I use an ego 1000 mah and get nearly 24 hours out of it. Gimme an automatic stick that can do that and i'll use it
Retriever Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Started out with an auto but found the draw to be too airy. So I witched to a manual and it seems to work better for me.
kgoallthewaygo Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 is the echo 1300mah regulated or unregulated? always looking for more power altho i cant complain with my 1100mah kgo.
