Viper Ron Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Does the amount of nic in the juice make a difference in the way the juice will taste? I bought some juice and by accident I ordered it with very little nic and when I reordered it at a higher level of nic it seems different? Just wondering if the nic could be the difference or my taste buds
DAYVAPE Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 (edited) It most certainly does affect the taste! I found that, for me, anything over about 12mg and I could really taste the nic. It can be a pretty harsh taste too... depending alot on the nic that is being used. You just need to try different levels and see what works/tastes best to you. The other main thing affecting taste is the PG/VG content. PG tends to carry flavors better... and VG tends to mute them a bit. Edited August 9, 2011 by DAYVAPE Christopher 1
Viper Ron Posted August 9, 2011 Author Posted August 9, 2011 That must be it then because It went from 6mg to18mg of nic and quite a difference in taste. Thanks for the info Dayvape
Jeffb Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Hell has officially frozen over. I agree with DAYVAPE DAYVAPE 1
DAYVAPE Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 You know you always do Jeff... don't try and fool everyone here!!
Christopher Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Yup Dayvape nailed it. It's one of the hardest things about creating e liquid. Covering the taste of the nicotine. (Which has a peppery taste and a hard to describe smell)
Viper Ron Posted August 9, 2011 Author Posted August 9, 2011 Might make a good poll......What level of nic do you use
tpavur Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Yes it will affect the taste as well as the throat hit.
mattfromthenavy Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 are there different brands of nicotine out there, i mean different companies that extract differently and does anyone know whats being used in the different juice recipes and how that affects taste? I would kind of geek out for that info.
