i have a 2 part question about electronic cigarettes the first being how difficult is it to keep an e-cig charged and filled, i have ADD and i just wonder if its easy enough to keep track of that it would be a good investment for me or not. the second question is what e cigarette would you recommend for me, i dont care how large it is or what color it is but i dont want it to at least be shaped like a cigarette, other than that i just want long battery life, thanks in advance for any responses.

I am going to recommend the eGo kit. It is the most versatile kit on the market right now. Either kit will allow you to use standard or low resistance atomizers or cartomizers.

Knowing when to recharge a battery is quite simple. The battery will either quit working or you will notice a drop in vapor production or function. Just like any other device that runs on a battery. The kits come with 2 batteries, so while using one battery the other is on the charger.

Just about the same rules apply when needing to refill a cartridge, tank or cartomizer. When vapor production drops or flavor has started to lighten or change, it is time for a refill. Direct dripping is 2-3 drops for about 7-10 draws.

There is no set time frame for either refilling or recharging. It all depends on your vaping habits and will vary on whether you are a light vaper or chain vaper.

There is lots of information already here that can answer your question. But to keep it short, charging is easy, filling is easy and you should purchase the Joye eGo if battery life is most important to you.

EDIT

Woo hoo angela we posted at the same time

Greetings, i just want to share my experience since I'm also relatively new to vaping. I've been smoking for a good (bad?) 10 years. Recently, my brother and I decided to grab some booze from 7-11. At the counter, he pointed out a little glass case with e-cigs inside (XHale O2) and just for the heck of it, we both purchased a kit. Apparently, it was one of the best life decisions we both made 'coz it got us to stop smoking cigarettes. So, after a few days into vaping, I decided to research more on the matter and ended up at vaportalk.com. I read and read and finally the Joye eGo T piqued my interest. I did not want to deal with "dripping", the constant USB charging and portability issues. So, I've decided to purchase the eGo T type "B" system from cignot.com and voila!, best purchase I've ever made. The kit arrived and it came with a wall to USB charger, 2 atomizers, 5 empty blue cartridges, 2 x 1000maH batteries, 3 flavors of your choice (or was it 2?), and a carrying case. Weeks into my new system and still smoke-free. My brother and I live a very active lifestyle. He runs a lot and I .... well .... run after bad guys. He claims his run times improved after switching to e-cigs but i'm just content to vaping after a long day (or night). There you go, here's hoping that you make your move towards the better and healthier alternative to smoking.

Congrats Wardog, and also to your brother! :animier: I too am a eGo Tank lover! Vicki from Cignot, has a great video on cleaning your eGo Tank atty

When you notice your draw getting tighter, flavor and vapor starting to diminish, and you start pulling juice into your mouth piece from the atty, clean your tank atty. Make sure when you are inserting your cart into the atty, that it is down all the way. If its not, you will have a leaking issue. Also, if the cart cap is not on all the way (listen for the click), leaking will be an issue. Cignot's carries the silicone caps for the tank carts. They are super cheap and I find that by using the silicone caps as apposed to the hard plastic ones, your cart will last much longer. Prying the cap off over time will weaken the thin plastic around the top of the cart. Once the thin plastic is cracked or chipped, leaking will be an issue. If you make sure to wipe off any juice from the top of the cart and dry the lip of the silicone cap before reinserting the cart, you are going to get a fantastic seal between the cap and the cart. Oh, just one more thing, with the silicone caps, it is a must to remove the rubber tag from the cap the first time you pierce it. If you put the cap on an empty cart first and pierce it, remove the cart, take the cap off and use a pair of tweezers and pull the tag off.

Here is to hoping your vaping journey is as pleasurable as mine!

i'll throw in another recommendation for the eGo, great battery life and so on, if you're trying to decide between the "regular" eGo and the eGo-T, remember that they're interchangeable. For example, you can buy a tank atomizer and cartridge, screw it onto your eGo battery, and it'll work, or screw an atomizer or cartomizer onto your eGo-T battery. whichever way you go, i'd recommend picking up a 5-pack of boge lr cartomizers as well, give those a shot. the eGo Maniac kit from goodprophets.com is usually a really good deal.
