AARONH
I never new I had such a high HDL...apparently that what carries out the "bad" LDL cholesterol....The Dr. did point that out to me, and said it was unusually high for a man my age (42)...BP was good too at 124 over
cheeple
Thats good to hear, I'd like to hear if others have similar blood pressure results, cause nicotene still constrcts blood vessels but I feel like my hypertension has reduced and I have more energy and sleep better through out the night only waking up once or twice instead of every hour. DAYVAPE
So, I have had to get multiple blood tests done this past year due to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other wacky numbers. I was even on blood pressure meds and cholesterol lowering drugs for the past few years as well (while I was smoking analogs). Well, I just went to the Doc yesterday and went over my most recent labs... and found that EVERYTHING is back down into the 'normal' ranges! The fact that my blood pressure and cholesterol are normal now w/o any meds for the past few months is quite a relief... even with my heavy vaping habit! Unfortunately, I can't say one way or another, what effects vaping has had on these results . Either way, I'm going to keep doing exactly what I've been doing lately... because evidently chain-vaping 12mg nicotine ALL DAY long isn't increasing my BP at all! MORAL OF MY STORY: Quitting smoking is obviously one of the best things we can do for our overall health... and for me, my vaping has not affected me in a negative way at all, so I will continue to KEEP ON VAPING! mcquinn
My tryglycerides are always way high,I suspect it might be from vaping before I get the blood draw.I am going to try to not vape Saturday and see if they come down.
AARONH
I can't say that vaping has done me any good or harm. But overall, I feel like I did before I smoked analogs .....been having a morning cough, but it hasn't rained here in about 3-4 months, and the humidity is like 20% ....dry as hell! PADave
Interesting! Similar results here: Prior to vaping Cholesterol at 210 now at 170 BP was always ok at 120/80 now running 105/70 Don't know how much of this is directly as a result of vaping, but I'll take it! DannyBoyfromWashington
If we get enough of these kind of results piled together it could make for a good independent study Edited November 9, 2011 by DannyBoyfromWashington
