soso
I had my first atty die on me today. Ironically it is also the newest one I own - a LR 510 Tank atomizer. It's the same story you've seen a thousand times - used intensely, with all kinds of different juices.. mostly thick VG ones, recently. It was performing great right up until it just went cold completely. Oh well. At least I still have my drip backups. Has anyone brought a tank atty back from the dead? kitsune
Mostly, dead is dead and won't come back. occasionally you will get one that seems to be dying and with a little rest and cleaning, will come back to life (at least temporarily). I have a small box of dead and dying atty's (can't seem to bring myself to throw them out). Backups, backups, backups !!!

Brian
If you have a multi meter you can check the ohms to make sure it's really dead. Some tomes it's just not making a connection.
profbeard
A good rule of thumb is that on average an atty will take around 40ml of juice vapid through before dying...
PADave
There may yet be a use for those old dead atties. Old Goat Mods have actually posted elsewhere that they are interested in buying old, dead atties. I actually sent him 60 old atties and got a free bottom feeder in return!
