so, this has nothing to do with e-cigs, but does anybody know if i buy an Amazon gift card from wegmans, or walmart, can i use it to order from sites other than amazon.com ? and do i have to have a visa credit card to buy a visa gift card? or can i just give the cashier some cash and activate it?

I don't know about the Amazon card, but visa gift cards are just you pay like 6 bucks to activate it. Hope this helps.

I'm not familiar with the Amazon gift card, but if

you want to use the visa cards from walmart they are very convenient.

All you do is choose whether you want a single use card or

a reloadable card.

If you choose the single use cards they come in preset amounts

e.g. $5,$10,$20 etc. you pay the cashier by cash, check or whatever

for the amount on the card plus the fee for the card.

If you get the multiple use card then you pay the cashier an activation fee

then each time you want to put money on it you go to the store and

tell them the exact amount you want on it and they add in a fee,$3 at

my local wallyworld,you pay the store the same way you would for any other

purchase and then the card can be used anywhere you would normally

use a visa:online orders,paypal,restaurants etc...

Oh and also if you keep a balance on the card then there is a monthly

fee of like 3 bucks but I usually just figure out how much I need

and put that exact amount on the card.No risk of getting ripped off

if you use the card right away

No, you don't need a visa card to buy visa gift card, cash should do it.
