kathie Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Hi, I use the e-go batteries (large)and I can tell when they're close to needing a recharge, but are not flashing yet. Can I put them on the recharger early without damaging them? Thanks for the help. Kathie
kitsune Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Yes you can charge them at any point. The light does not need to flash before putting it on the charger.
kathie Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 Thanks everyone for the help and quick response! Kathie
ripple Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 If I had to guess I would assume this question is based in the battery "memory" myth around fully discharging batteries so as to not shorten their life over time. This is not an issue with todays batteries, so charge them when it convenient for you!
Christopher Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Yup charge them whenever you want. These are lithium ion batteries so they can be charged anytime
lazymitch Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Never a happier day for me than the day I read the tech specs on the first Li-ion batteries. Nickle Metal Hydride batteries were just plain awful!
