mkauthen
Funny thing about weight loss. It sure depends on our bodies.... Through out my 20's, I was that girl everyone hates. Eat what I want, and never gain weight. Even after having babies. The weight just disappeared. Then I had my last baby and turned 30. Suddenly it was impossible to lose weight, and I kept gaining. Very depressing for a girl that had no idea how to diet. Lord have mercy. I also suffer from clinical depression and anxiety, so the weight was just adding up. The moral of this story is, I don't know what is happening to me, but I've been vaping for two months now, and I am eating less, exercising more, and the weight is noticeably coming off. I am down to 135 pounds, only ten to go to hit my goal weight. I've lost 20 pounds in the last few months. I feel better mentally as well (pretty good considering I lost my health insurance and no more meds). I had all but given up on ever feeling good about myself again. Its amazing. Itsmedeanna64
Gaining weight was one thing that I really worried about. I quit cigs and am vaping only, let's see about 9 weeks ago. Maybe women tend to be concerned about this more than men, I don't know. Over the last year and a half I've had three surgeries and 7 hospital stays. I have bleeding ulcers, I got a total of 21 pints of blood and my hemoglobin got down to 2.4 last thanksgiving. I eventually had to have a gastric bypass and lost 50 lbs unintentionally. It's been a long hard road believe me....but I still worry about gaining weight back now that I have been feeling better most days, not every day. Between all the Iv iron treatments and dr apps I have started walking. I would like to stay exactly where I am right now at 130 lbs. I was down to 119 at five foot five inches tall and that was way too thin for me. All this I still worry about gaining weight like other ex smokers tend to do.
