hurrycaine3000
Just wondering if anyone on this site has tried the intellicig. www.intellicig.com I saw one review on it, but I don't really trust those anymore. I know, I know, I should just get the eGo, or something of that nature, but as of now I'm still stuck on wanting it to feel like a cigarette so that I can get off of those first. I currently have a blu cig that I pretty much stopped using, and am hoping to send back before the thirty days are up, and a safe cig. The safe cig actually isn't that bad, but with how big it is ( it looks to be about the size of a 901) it's just not doing it for me. and well, for the price I paid, I may send that back too, now that I have seen a bit of what else is out there. I heard that the intellicig has great vapor production, but not much throat hit. isn't the throat hit more a result of e liquid than the cig you're using? if that's the case, then I will just get empty cartridges from them, and fill them with something recommended from here. I know that an eGo, or 901 may have more vapor, but I'm looking for something closer to a real cigs production anyway, and really the ego and 901 look like they produce more than one anyway. thanks for any thoughts. also if anyone can recommend an ecig that's life like, and well made, but not crazy overpriced I'd greatly appreciate it. thanks again. BirdDog
I responded in your other post and mentioned the Joye 510. It is small and really reliable. If you do get the Ego, then the Joye 510 would be a perfect companion battery for going out and about like you are wanting. They both use the same atomizer and you wouldn't have to worry about having 2 kits that were not interchangeable. I am not familiar with the intellicig. Oh yeah, I kept saying the 901, but I meant the 510. From what I understand the 510 is more like the size of a black and mild. I'm hoping to find a nice cigarette size one, for out and about. I do like the idea of just having to change the battery, and not actually switch units.
BirdDog
I really can not remember how long an actual cigarette is compared to the 510. (that is how long I have been vaping) But I was amazed that the size wasn't all that far off. The 510 is a really small device and it comes in various colors, including white. nana
I think that given all the experience from all of the people here, the best device (and value for the money) you can get for the size you are wanting is the 510. All of the people who have been like you and wanted something that looked the most like an analog were very disappointed in what they got. They did not help them quit smoking, but rather gave them the idea that it was possible to quit by using an ecig. They (including me) moved on to other things. The 510 is what got most of excited until the eGo came out and that was mainly because of the length of time the battery stayed charged compared to the regular 510. Once they started coming out with LR attys, drip tips, etc., the eGo got better and better. I think you should try the 510. If you ever want to move up from there and try the eGo, the 510 attys will work on it so you won't be out anything at all. Some of those other kinds that you are talking about will not have parts that you can use with anything else.
Sharon
HurryCaine3000, IMO, you will continue to be disappointed in the e-cigs that look like cigarettes. They are pretty much the same thing. In my experience, prior to getting an eGo, I was disappointed, frustrated, and broke. First I bought the Smoke 51 that advertised one cartridge was equivalent to a pack of cigarettes. Shoot, one cartridge wasn't even equivalent to one cigarette. I went through the five cartridges before the battery even went dead. It was a good think though, the kit only came with one battery!!!! That unit cost me $70. Then I tried the Direct e cig. Stupid me got another kit that only had one battery. But the cartridges did last me longer. So when the battery went dead I thought, maybe I should order another kit. That way I would have two batteries. So I ordered another kit at $70. So far I have spent $210. After about 4 days I was out of cartridges, so I ordered a set of 50 pre filled cartridges that only cost me $60. Now I am up to $270. The first cartridge I put on the atty, the filling material stuck to the atty. So I opened another cartridge thinking the first one was defective. Huh, the second one did the same thing. Long story short, I opened all 50 and all 50 did the same thing. Now I am pissed. I called the company. It took me several phone calls before I actually got through. The Representative told me that they would not give me a refund because I had opened them up and no one else was having this problem. But they did offer to sell me a package of 5 pre filled cartomizers for $30. I relented and bought the carto's. When the cartomizers came in I thought I was in heaven, they worked so well. And one cartomizer lasted me about 2 hours. Needless to say I went through the cartomizers pretty quick. The total now is $300. Finally, a light bulb went off in my brain (slow but sure). This crap is costing me more than smoking!!!!! A little late to the party, I got on the internet and starting searching e-cigs. Thank goodness I found this forum. The folks here directed me to the eGo. I got the eGo kit for $78, and go figure, there were two batteries. The story has a happy ending though, I am now a very happy vapor. The moral of the story, listen to the people who have a lot more experience and save yourself from the same experience and frustration I had. Trust me when I say, I am not the exception here. There are a lot of members that got here the same way I did. Please reconsider your desire to get an e cig that looks like a cigarette. I also have great news for you.
