So I got the 5v mod kit from madvapes put everything together the problem is that I'm not getting power from one side of the voltage regulator any ideas

Did you turn on the master kill switch (the on/off switch on the box)? Sorry, had to ask the obvious first.

What do you mean you're not getting power out one side of the regulator? I believe there's only one pin that will have power.

It's hard to say... Check all your wiring and if everything appears correct, I'd contact madvapes. They have a pretty nice tutorial and diagram:

got it working was bad connection in one hole on the board

Whenever I had a problem with an instrument at work and called the repair guy, first thing he always said was "Is the O-N O-F-F switch on the O-N position" LOL
