dortoto
Hi all. I finally made up my mind and purchased a nifty e-cig. I know there are some initial side-effects also withdrawal etc. However I find it strange that I have what i can only describe as a dull head, and my eyes feel puffy when they aren't really swolen. Should I be worried? Thanx
kitsune
For me anyway--for the first 2 weeks (everytime I quit smoking) I get a very fuzzy fatigue feeling that lasts about a week. could have slept 20 hours a day for the first couple weeks. Most of the symptoms I had for the first few weeks were (as far as i could tell) withdrawal symptoms from all the other misc chemicals in cigarettes. After almost 2 years of vaping, I can honestly say, I don't have any side effects (that I know of). I no longer cough, no longer short of breath, can taste and smell better (not always a good thing), my circulation has improved. I can actually run (walk fast) up a flight of stairs without feeling like I needed to catch my breath.
BirdDog
It is just the way your body is cleaning itself out. Like Kitsune, I could have slept for several days when I made the switch. Be patient it will all pass soon and you will begin to notice the benefits. This is a good time to watch yourself, if something really seems out of the norm or if the symptoms persist I would make a visit with your doctor. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Tagsanstuff
Good luck on your Vaping. It can be a lot of fun and addictive. I quit smoking 3 months ago. been vaping for the last 3 months and 1 week. I feel a lot better. I have more energy and less pain now. cold sores went away. nose still runs, but my cough is almost all gone. I have a house that I clean and it has 3 flights of stairs to carry the stuff up. I get out of breath climbing all those steps, but I think that was due to my 30 yrs of smoking close to 3 packs a day. Vaping has changed my life and I also converted other friends who smoked into Vaping. One friend is going on 2 1/2 months smoke free and my sister has been vaping for about 2 weeks now. I do not see many people in my State that vape. I live here in Delaware near the ocean. I have a lot of people looking at me while I puff on this thing while driving. one guy was watching me puff on this eGo and when I blew out the vapor, he smiled and laughed. I hope you enjoy it like we all do here at VT. oh by the way: Get backup`s///Lots of back ups.
