skh
I know I'm a noobie and not really into this yet. Still - after going back and forth, trying manuel batteries, automatic batteries - different kind of cart fillings - and today cartomizers.. Im kind of comfused. Until now I have the 401 and 510 - I also have a M7 and a M6 battery (but they are the same, and also the same as 401, only shorter). I actually find myself preferring the 401 - it has a easy draw, good Vapor, long lasting batteries - only downside is that it has to be held while walking, or the battery must be away from the atomizer while moving around. Kind of annoying, but ok when I know about it and can keep it charging in my pocket. But now I read and find that bloog maxx fusion is the very best, also some people say its the same as Kr808D-1 - and I dont know what to believe. I also find that I prefer automatic batteries more than the manual ones. Im kind of against all that is said about e-cigarettes. What I wonder about is - what is so much better with the bloog maxx fusion? My 401 batteries lasts for several hours - like maybe 5-6 hours or more even, depending on how much I wape. The 510 only lasts for... I dont know - 1 hour tops - very annoying actually. And for the 501 its as if the throut hit is less, also ... its just not the same, feel as if the wapor is softer or something. But they are still good, some days I still prefer the 510 - dont know why I keep going back and fort. However, the last week I used the 401 constantly, its just more satisfying (but the atomizers needed to be used for a while). But the thing is that I am very aware that the 401 is very "2years ago" - and with automatic batteries its probably "3years ago" - so tell me. What is so much better about the bloog maxx fusion and kr808d-1? Im kind of planning to buy one of them, but not sure what kind. Also I kind of wonder if the difference is very big - or if maybe its all about who got the best videos on Youtube? I dont mean to offend anyone, It's just that as I'm in Norway I need to devide my orders in smaller packets to avoid ekstra tax - that makes the postage be more expensive and all - and I would want to get some more information before I buy all of china - and for the bloog I'll have to buy from the us, and that is even more expensive for me. I dont mind supporting the us economy though. Skh Edited April 6, 2011 by skh
Brian
As I always say, vaping is about finding what works best for you. Nobody will be offended if you like something else. What you say about the 510 does seem odd though. Is it a genuine Joye 510? I love the 510 because of the great throat hit I get form it. I've never used an M series, but everyone who has seems to say they didn't work as well as the 510 when it comes to vapor production and throat hit. I don't know much about Bloog. I think you can use regular KR808 cartomizers on their batteries, but they do claim technological advances on the batteries and cartomizers that make them better than the standard KR808. They seem to have quite a loyal following of people who will validate those claims. As for automatic batteries, there are two downsides that most see: 1. They have a 5 second cut-off which is annoying if you take longer drags. Some may have longer cut-off times now, but I don't know because I haven't looked into them. 2. Automatic batteries are not sealed, so eliquid can get inside the battery and ruin it. If you direct drip, this is not good.
BirdDog
Welcome to the forum. I have to agree with Brian, you should use what works best for you. Looking forward to seeing you around the forum. Happy vaping!
skh
Iknow what you say, everyone sais that 510 is better. And yes, it is a genuine 510, I even have two of them - or I guess that would be four . I have one battery though, a 510 autumatic that has this 5 sec cutoff, I agree about that being kind of annoying. I havent noticed a cutoff time on my other batteries. I dont know why I feel the vapor is kind of soft coming from the 510, maybe I should try more juices And more ecigs - I just dont want to buy and buy if they are all the same I do believe that one of the reasons I prefer the 401 is that it has a lot better battery life and its slimmer - the 510 is kind of big to suck on But I might get more used to it. I also heard about the risk of ruining the automatic batteries if I use them while dripping, so I always use automatic ones for that. I kind of like all my ecigs, but for some reason I seem to prefer the 410 as of now. Who knows what might change in the future. skh Edited April 7, 2011 by skh
steeldragon
I don't know if this is going to help or confuse but I will try anyhow. I started with the KR808 back in December. I went through several companies till I found Bloog. My wife and I had 4 of the mini batteries 65 mm. I got about 4 hours when I heavy vaped. They are a 3.6 regulated device. Which means that they are 3.6 all the time from right off the charger to when they run out of power. My wife and I never had a problem with any of the equipment. When you put the Bloog battery with Bloog cartomizers it is an excellent match. They really don't seem to work as well with other cartomizers as well. There is no priming as with other automatic batteries. Leaford is there tech overseas, he works out of the factory in China. As far as the cutoff mine were all 7 second and 8 second and I couldn't make it to the cutoff because of the throat hit. My wife and I moved on to the Riva's because like I felt like I was missing something. I didn't do the designer juices like I do now but I found I like the taste from my Riva a little more and I love the battery life. The largest battery Bloog offers is the 102 mm which just came out which I think is around 480 mah battery which should give you about 8 hours. There has been some tremendous advancements in the short time I have been vaping. I still think they make the best KR808. The company went through some problems but it seems like it is getting back on track. I won't go back to the KR808 because I love my Rivas especially since we have passed our Bloogs foward to help other people out. I apologize that I rambled a little this post was interrupted several times by a cat seeking attention. I know Leaford is also a member of these forums and will sometimes sneak in and answer questions and if so ask him about the pom pom picture. I hoped I helped.
