Dripping? Too Much Or Too Little?

When do I Know if I am dripping too much or enough. The video on here says three drops. I've been doing that...how long should it last? I still hear gurgling and get vapor bit that nasty taste starts. Is that when I should add a few drops or have I flooded my atomizer?

If you hear gurgling that is too much liquid and the atomizer is flooded. Try using 2 drops instead of 3. You should get about 7-10 draws before having to re-drip.

If you're hearing a gurgling sound that's usually a good sign your atomizer is flooded. I found 3 drops was perfect for an empty standard 510 atomizer but using a low resistance 510 I only use 2 drops because 3 causes it to leak from the vent holes, so it depends on what you're using as well.

I'm not extremely experienced with dripping, but I've found that 2 drops gives me 5 to 8 good drags off my low resistance 510 eGo. As soon as the vapor starts to diminish I'll simply add 1 or 2 drops at a time if I want more.

I just got my Joye eGo today. Using the standard atomizer with it. I also tried the low resistance Bose cartos...works ok. Trying to drip while Im at home and save the cartos for work and out and about. So I am thinking I am doing it right...I'll try two drops instead. Thanks -Cheryl

I use 3 drops per "DD" usage and it will gurgle for the first hit or two. I only get 5-6 hits tops before I have to redrip but I take some pretty good long hits. Usually you will notice your atty leaking at the connection with the battery if you are overfilling. Also, give a slight blow thru the drip tip after dripping to blow the fluid thru the tip and onto the atty.

Seems like three drops for a 510 and two for a 901,some liquids seem to use up the flavor before all the liquid is gone and you end up putting in more to get some flavor until it is flooded.

I also would add it can vary a bit based on the liquid you use, some suppliers liquid I do fine with 2 drops, some I prefer 3.

Also sometimes I do three even though its a bit much knowing that I will immediately take several longer draws - its a bit like an art that you learn to master, but the process is part of the fun.
