amlucent Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I am about to place an order with http://sweet-vapes.com/2011/02/20/sample-pack/ on some liquid. It is asking me to tell them what % of PG vs VG I want for each bottle! I mean i get that VG is more 'smoke' but other than that i have no clue. What is a good 'conservative' mixture? I guess I just want 'the standard'.
Dondlelinger Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) from what i seen (mind you im a noob too) pg is best on you cardimizers and better flavor(70pg 30eg). but vg = more vapor production less flavor and harder on atomizer so, really its up to you and what matters to you! Personally if i had both i would do 70pg 30eg.. Funny im giving advise and have yet even vaped ... but i research like a freak. Edited April 3, 2011 by Dondlelinger
amlucent Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Thanks for the quick reply! So you are suggesting a 70% PG and 30% VG ratio?
Dondlelinger Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the quick reply! So you are suggesting a 70% PG and 30% VG ratio? Yes, from what i read its the best or even pure pg is good. You may want to double check with someone whos vaped a bit more but by the looks of it I'm right. Edited April 3, 2011 by Dondlelinger
mcquinn Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 It really does not make a lot of difference to most of us ,the trick is finding flavors you like.I would go with a 50-50 mix as VG is kinda thick and does not soak into the filler very easy.
Nanna Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I use 70/30 or 80/20. More PG than that and it irritates my throat. More VG than that, and I don't get the flavor I want. 80/20 or 70/30 seems to be perfect for me in terms of lots of vapor, great flavor and doesn't mess up my atomizers and cartomizers.
Morfeeus Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I think 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG is about the perfect ratio. PG gives more flavor and better throat hit and VG gives off more vapor. Personally for me, 70/30 is perfect.
