My drip tip arrived from good prophets. I ordered 2 eGo drip tips, a cylinder and a cone. I saw the video about direct dripping onto the atty, got that part. I've modified the empty cart by pulling out the end pieces, not too bad when vaping but a little harsh. It does make a strange hissing noise once I release the button on the eGo. I'm confused on how to install the drip tip or where it goes. The most logical spot at the end of the cover seems forceful. Any help, as always, is appreciated.

The drip tips replace the carts and attach directly to the atomizer. You can use with or without the cone, whichever you prefer.

Just be careful. Everytime I use a drip tip, I get mouthfuls of juice followed by hiccups. Good luck though, I wish they worked for me!

Some of the more contoured drip tips are a bit narrow and the drops will get stuck at the bottom. If you give a small blow across the top of the tip, like making a bottle whistle, it will move the juice down into the atomizer and help with getting a mouthful of juice.

You got a cylindrical and a cone atomizer?

Is this what you're trying to use the drip tip on? Did you get the right drip tip? Looks like there are two eGo drip tips, one to fit the cone shaped atty and one to fit the cylindrical shaped atty. Did you get one of each?

I ordered the one below.

The one you just sent looks like the correct one though. Super confused, sorry. The drip tip link above says it works with my eGo, but I cannot for the life of me get that damn thing to fit on the atty cover, if thats even where its supposed to go!

I used to have that issue with a one of the contoured delrins I had. I found better luck with the straighter tips without the contour inside. I have both a metal and delrin of those and no problems on this side. Also- you can blow (like a flute/whistle) into the tip and kick some of the juice down further. Good aim also seems to help if you can get the drops directly down the center, vs. hitting the sides. ...just my 2 pennies.

I'm still not sure what you have. LOL! You said you ordered two drip tips, a cylinder and a cone. The link I posted was for the a cylinder shaped eGo mega atomizer. Is that the atty you have? The link you posted was for drip tips, but there is a drop down box, so I can't tell which one you got.

The drip tip should connect to the open end of the atty. It can be a tight squeeze, especially the first few times. Does the drip tip start to fit into the atty? Usually where it hangs up is the little rubber O ring on the drip tip. If that's where it's sticking, you can try putting just a little juice on it (or lick it).

Just to clarify... the outside is contoured, not the inside.

Just to let you know, the hissing sound your hearing is the battery heating up the atty. Completely normal sound, but you don't want to heat up the atty without sufficient amount of juice in the atty. From what I understand (I don't DD) the drip tip goes directly on the atty. It doesn't fit on top of the empty cart that comes with the atty.
