birdievk
I think I have most info that I need, thanks to vapor talk. Except cartomizers.. I watched a video here that showed me easily how to direct drip but he specifically said to stay away from things saying low resistance. I have a regular tornado and I see they sell cartomizers for it and also 1.5 ohm low atomizers.. Can someone please explain. I was under the impression you can't use juice with a cartomizer. thanks
nana
I'm not sure which video you watched, but you can use low resistance on a tornado. They are made to use with a 3.7 volt device - which the tornado is. You can use regular 510 attys, LR 510 attys, cartomizers, and LR cartomizers on your tornado. You can also get adapters and use different attys on it if you want to. You really have a lot of different options, which is what makes the tornado (and eGo) a great battery. And yes, you do use juice with the cartomizers. You can get pre-filled, but they usually aren't that great. Even if you get the pre-filled, you can refill them yourself. JayH503
The low resistance cartomizers from vaporkings.com are really good. They simulate a high voltage vape. They are 2.0 Ohms. The 1.8 Ohm LR cartomizers at electronicstix.com are pretty good too. They make a popping/crackling noise and that's normal. LOL I use them all the time! Right now I have a regular tornado from TW and I have credit available and want to get another kit for some variety> I was looking at their videos of the Mega 510 Titan ( a bit expensive for me at 99.99.. and the regular 510 titan a bit more my style on sale for 44.99. But I heard here that I wouldnt like the regular titan since I already have the tornado. I do like how the titan looks.. it seems nice and petite but I guess that doesnt matter.. any suggestions please?
Brian
Maybe just use your credit to get some spare batteries and atomizers and some cartomizers? You always need backups.
Erika
An extra charger!
DAYVAPE
I totally agree with Brian on this one... get some backups. And, I don't see any reason in going backwards with your devices.... much shorter battery life will be the biggest disappointment you discover. Also, the TorneGo battery holds a much more constant voltage than the stick batteries, voltage drop sucks! You would also need to stock up on 510 batteries so you don't get caught w/o one charged up, etc. Not to mention they can just quit working for no reason... therefore you would need more than just 2 I would say. It just really ends up becoming a hassle... at least it did for myself and many others here. I would say consider yourself lucky that you didn't do like 90% of us did and start out with a 'stick style' e-cig. Because now most of us have a buttload of spare 510, 901, 801, or other spare batteries! I just have a feeling that you would end up using your Tornado all of the time... but that doesn't mean you can't have a 510 as a backup. But remember, you aren't supposed to use LR cartos/attys on stick style batteries... which basically sucks because LR is the only way to vape at 3.7 IMHO. RANT OFF... LOL.
