Ego - T Tank Semi-Mod

Hey All,

Just thought I'd share some thing I have learned about my ego - t.

When you first fill the tank and push it on to the addy, it opens the hole in the bottom to wick the juice in the tank to the addy. What they dont tell you is it still leaves a peice of the plastic flap on the inside of the tank. I have found this makes wicking harder and you end up with a dry hit once or twice if you vape alot. Taking needle nosed pliers or tweasers you cant carefully remove the rest of this plastic. The tanks come with a rubber cap to prevent leaking when you do not have it sitting in the addy. Once the tank is pierced youd think it would drip juice all the time and you would end up with juice all over the place, but when seated correctly on the addy it forms a seal and doesnt leak. So the flap doesnt do anything once the tank is peirced but get in the wicks way. So removing the plastic gives you a better wick, harder hit and tons more vape and flavor...

Just something I noticed....

I noticed that right away and I did remove it after the tank emptied the first time. Never thought to share that info, my bad.

After about 2 weeks with the tanks I have begun to have some occasion leakage so I am beginning to think that might be about the life span of the tank. Also last night I did lose the mouthpiece tip on one of them.

Success! I removed the plastic piece and the vapor is so much better.

I was wondering about the life span of the tank cart. I wondering if I use a syringe to refill the cart instead of taking the cap off, will the cart last longer? Any idea where the cart was leaking from?
