I am new to this and was wondering if Rose`s Grenadine pure would work? or will it mess-up my eGo Tornado?

I am pretty sure Rose's Grenadine has sugar in it. sugars will crystalize on the atty and destroy it quickly. Food flavorings are the best bet as they do not have sugars and are water soluble. some flavorings are oil based and can also be hard on the atomizers.

I just bought some Raspberry extract and added some to my bottle of menthol, and I can taste a light hint of raspberry in it..

Stick w/ water soluble flavoring. Some are oil based and will also gum up your atty. There's a database somewhere with each vendors flavors and a breakdown of oils and water.
