Are Cartos That Much Different?

So, after a week of happily vaping mostly direct dripping, I got some cartomizers because I have a long-ish drive to work and am not nearly coordinated enough to drip and drive. They came Friday night, I loaded them up yesterday morning via Chris' video, and when I vape on them it's like vaping air. Very little flavor or vapor production compared to dripping. I tried three different liquids (all 70/30 PG/VG mix, in 3 different cartos. It LOOKS pretty full - like a slushie. I tried bottom filling.

I am thinking perhaps that I just spoiled myself by direct dripping right out of the box? Also, perhaps, I could just fill up some regular old cleaned out carts I got with my starter kit and that would get me to work but still get me more flavor/vapor?

Any ideas here?

on 3.7v do a lr, also spin the carto to push the juice down.

on 5v you can do a standard up to 3.2ohm carto

thats all i use. i used to drip and couldnt take the whole drip drip drip, vape vape vape, drip drip drip, vape vape vape, to it all.

For me, cartos are only for when I can't drip - basically, when I'm driving (or fishing). :) When I'm driving I'm using my Provari, so at 5V they're not bad.

I normally get about 30 drops in a carto. I drip into it until it starts to puddle on the top, put the cover back on and shake it down like an old thermometer. Add more drops, repeat as needed.

As Jolly said, you may want to get some LR cartos (either the 1.8ohm or 2.0 ohm).

Nanna, Try the LR (low resistance) cartomizers from vaporkings.com and electronicstix.com (2.0 Ohm VK & 1.8 Ohm electronicstix) They are the only cartomizers I use now. They work perfectly on my eGo, so I haven't purchased regular cartomizers since. (Simulates high voltage vaping.) :)

Bottom fill them (20 drops in the cartomizer condom) the first time, then top off as needed!

I have pretty good luck with the Boge cartos's.Are you sure you are getting them full?Seems to take a lot the first time .The flavor is the same for me dripping at 3.7 or using a new or fairly new carto at 3.7.5 volts seems to make the carto's go bad quicker to me.

Thanks for all the replies! Turns out I wasn't getting them full enough, but I took everyone's info and learned how to spin the cartos and get more into them and voila! Happy vaping!

I drip at home too but I wanted something to take me when I was in the car, etc. This is doing better.
