Another Newbie Ego Question About The Draw...

ok, so i came to discover in a moment of being too lazy to put the white stopped back on after topping off that i get a much better vape without it and without the cone i dont have to draw as hard, and above all i can actually taste the flavors better when i do this, it looks so ghetto this way but my question is this, i understand the cone is restricting the air flow somehow, which saddens me because i prefer the look with the cone on... but why would that little white stopper change the vape?

i find myself not topping off as much now, not flooding it as much this way because i can actually taste it now... i want to put the parts back on when in the car yet, i still want to enjoy my vape, kunundrum, looks vs function...

Get yourself a stylish stainless steel or pyrex clear drip tip..the flow is much better and plus, you can still direct drip on the atty, or top off your cartomizer either way. I like the clear DT, and I DD, and I do not use the cone at all.

that is on my list of future purchases, i have not delved into the world of direct dripping as yet due to fears that i will go through many costly attys so for the time being im playing around with cartos until i get all this down to an art lol, but i do have the two attys that came with my kit when i feel like giving it a try, but i am definitely enjoying my eGo much better without the cone

I have also vaped without the cap back on my carto, for no particular reason...the only thing I don't like is that you are more likely to get a mouthful of juice. I didn't necessarily notice any difference in flavor BUT with the cap on you are sucking air through the slots at the bottom of the carto (if you look there are two teeny tiny holes where the battery and carto meet, plus the ones at the bottom of the battery itself) PLUS the hole in the cap, so you are basically sucking through a tiny straw vs a big wide straw at the top. So it makes sense that the draw is easier, which I agree it is. I don't think anyone would disagree, it is just an airflow fact. HOWEVER, not using the cap makes it a potentially messier experience since a little too hard a draw with a little too wet filler will get you a tongue full of juice. Never mind the ghetto look, LOL.

I think what the other person was saying was to get a drip tip...NOT for actually using as a drip tip, but you put it on the top of the carto instead of the cap....thereby keeping the opening big but it not looking ghetto. They only cost like $5 and you don't have to drip. THEN when and if you DO decide to DD you have the tip for that purpose too. I have considered doing that...not to DD because I have no interest in DDing...but to not have to mess with the caps at all, and for the airflow issue.

Yes!...thats what I was trying to say. Some places you can get them for like 3 or 4 bucks. You will get one eventually anyways I have a clear plastic one, which I like, but I want the Pyrex glass one.
