philwashere
sorry guys total n00b here. my girlfriend recently bought a smokeless delight type unit that looks like a regular cigarette (automatic with white battery and cigarette colored tip). she is doing well not smoking but her friend's kid busted the atomizers; and i want a cheaper way to refill. can anyone tell me if Vapor Stuff's M-401/402/403 is the right atomizer mated with DSE901b blank cartridges and MLB 24 mg refill liquid. i have a syringe, do i need anything else? sorry for the dumb questions but i am really pressed for time as i don't want her to relapse by smoking too many real cigarettes. is there such a thing as the best atomizer system? i'd like to keep using the same battery/charger as that part of the system works well. the complaint she has with the unit is that the hits are not equal in strength the more she "smokes" them (figure refilling may fix this). when you use e-cigs is it common to pull fluid through them or does that mean they overfilled them? is it dangerous? if this info exists elsewhere please point me in the right direction. thank you, phil
Christopher
sorry guys total n00b here. my girlfriend recently bought a smokeless delight type unit that looks like a regular cigarette (automatic with white battery and cigarette colored tip). she is doing well not smoking but her friend's kid busted the atomizers; and i want a cheaper way to refill. Darn those kids! Make sure the kids know ecigs are a no no. You don't want them getting juice on their hands. can anyone tell me if Vapor Stuff's M-401/402/403 is the right atomizer mated with DSE901b blank cartridges and MLB 24 mg refill liquid. i have a syringe, do i need anything else? The M401 atomizer will NOT work with the DSE901, you need to get a DSE901 atomizer. Also the carts will not work with each other as they are different sizes. Have a look at our supplier list. Also keep in mind the Smokeless Delite charges quite a bit for their products. The little ecig you say looks like a real analog is called a super mini, it can be replaced for about $40-50 (a whole new kit) The model is an RN4082. Although I recommend that if she does purchase a new kit she gets a Joye510 MUCH MUCH better vapor. Dietsmokes.com and Awesomevapor.com both have them in stock. Also the refilll liquid will work fine. Also you don't HAVE to have a syring, you can just drop right into the cart, just make sure you hit the "cotton" area. It's pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. Although the syring will work better for filling the cart from bottom to top. Just don't poke yourself. (Like I have ) http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/forum/20-supplier-list-and-certified-suppliers/ sorry for the dumb questions but i am really pressed for time as i don't want her to relapse by smoking too many real cigarettes. is there such a thing as the best atomizer system? There are no dumb questions, we all had to start learning some how! There are different models, all work different in their own way. If you want something that creates the same amount of "smoke" as an analog cigarette your going to want to look at either the Joye510 or the Joye306. The 306 doesn't create as much vapor, but is very light, the Joye510 creates much more vapor (more vapor better nicotine delivery) but weighs about what her current ecig model weighs. Maybe a little lighter. i'd like to keep using the same battery/charger as that part of the system works well. the complaint she has with the unit is that the hits are not equal in strength the more she "smokes" them (figure refilling may fix this). when you use e-cigs is it common to pull fluid through them or does that mean they overfilled them? is it dangerous? if this info exists elsewhere please point me in the right direction. When first starting it's common to get liquid in your mouth but it's not something you want happening all the time. We've all done it. Tell her not to suck so hard on the ecig. When you smoke an analog you tend to suck harder if you want more smoke, however, on an ecig that doesn't work. The chip unit doesn't care how hard you suck. It's much better to take a longer easy draw. This will give you more vapor. Tell her to take long easy 3-4 second draws. No liquid and more vapor thank you, phil your very welcome! I'm sure you will have more questions so post away brudda!
philwashere
THANK YOU so much Christopher! i give n00bs advice on purchasing shortwave radios. kinda funny being on the other side of the help desk . you were right, i have more questions... if i buy her a DSE901 atomizer and liquid... can we refill her many spent cartridges? how can you tell if a cartridge goes bad? this will likely be what i do to tide her over. are the charger and battery units the same for all the atomizers? can i just get the JOYE 510 atomizer and cartridges to try that system out or will she need a starter kit? does the JOYE 510 having better vapor mean that it delivers more nicotine? or more consistent nicotine? i think she does not care about the amount of "smoke" but she can tell if there is low nicotine in the hit. her real smokes are Marlboro Reds. i was thinking about getting her the Marlbone 24 mg as Smokeless delights only had the 16 mg as their highest nicotine and her gut feel was that they were on the weak side. out of awesomevapor and dietsmokes, which tends to ship faster? thanks man, phil
philwashere
oh, the non-battery part looks almost exactly like the RN4081 at dietsmoke's. i took pictures: thanks, phil
Christopher
THANK YOU so much Christopher! i give n00bs advice on purchasing shortwave radios. kinda funny being on the other side of the help desk . you were right, i have more questions... We're ready if i buy her a DSE901 atomizer and liquid... can we refill her many spent cartridges? how can you tell if a cartridge goes bad? this will likely be what i do to tide her over. The cartridges that you currently have for the Smokeless Delite model will NOT work on the DSE901. are the charger and battery units the same for all the atomizers? can i just get the JOYE 510 atomizer and cartridges to try that system out or will she need a starter kit? does the JOYE 510 having better vapor mean that it delivers more nicotine? or more consistent nicotine? i think she does not care about the amount of "smoke" but she can tell if there is low nicotine in the hit. Yes more vapor, means more nicotine. The nicotine is delived via Vapor, if you don't have enough vapor your not going to get the nictoine, naturally. As for the whole system thing...Don't think of it like a system that sounds like a sales pitch. Think of it like a car. Some cars work better than others, some are faster, some slower etc. Each ecig is the same way, some have more battery life, some have less. All batteries and charger and atomizers are different, they will not work with each other. her real smokes are Marlboro Reds. i was thinking about getting her the Marlbone 24 mg as Smokeless delights only had the 16 mg as their highest nicotine and her gut feel was that they were on the weak side. out of awesomevapor and dietsmokes, which tends to ship faster? Both ship very fast. If you really want my advice this is what I would do... 1. Go to dietsmokes.com 2. Purchase this model: http://www.dietsmokes.com/categories/Joye-510/ 3. Go to their liquid page: http://www.dietsmokes.com/categories/Liquid/ They have many different flavors of liquid. Purchase the 24mg nic content. This will suffice if she smokes a pack of Marlboro reds. I know you really want the DSE model, and I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying I think the 510 is a better model. Christopher
oh, the non-battery part looks almost exactly like the RN4081 at dietsmoke's. i took pictures: thanks, phil This is actually NOT a RN4082. It looked like it at first, but the reason I can tell is because of the raised atomizer. That is either an M401 or a Joyte306, although I'm leaning towards M401 because I don't see any fibers inside the atomizer like the Joye does. That's actually not a bad model. Not my favorite by any means, but still an ok model.
philwashere
hi Christopher, i took your advice and got her a Joye 510 and 16 mg Marlboro (24 mg sold out)... from DietSmokes. saw your video (i like the editing)... btw, Smokeless Delights does not put out that much vapor. THANK YOU, phil
Christopher
You are very welcome! I think she will really like that model, it's also "drip" freindly. The ecig has a manual button which works MUCH better because there is no cut off. Also the battery is sealed so you don't have to worry about the batteries flashing, flickering or juice getting inside. If she really likes the 24mg send me a PM with your address and I'll send you some 24mg Vapor Talk Juice free of charge.
philwashere
hi Christopher, thanks for the help and the offer! 16 mg might do her fine: Smokeless Delights did not seem to hold much juice. i am scrambling to figure out how to fill the cartridges. can you point me to a guide or video? regards, phil
philwashere
is there any chance my gf's current e-cig is a Joye 306? btw, does "dripping" mean putting the fluid directly on the atomizer? thanks, phil
Christopher
This might help you out: Also many of us do not fill up the cart. We actually just empty the cotton out of the cart, then drip 2 drops (3 drops if you using the 510) right onto the atomizer. Then vape until the vapor goes low
philwashere
awesome, thanks Christopher! with any luck her current e-cig is a Joye 306 and she'll be able to charge her automatic batteries for use with the 510's atomizer... as backup. regards, phil
philwashere
hi Christopher! the Joye 510 arrived. the gf said MLB juice was light tasting compared to Smokeless Delight. do you know what juice they use? any recommendations? any coffee flavor you recommend? her other must be a Joye 306... the parts are interchangeable! she said the 510 tastes burnt, can this be fixed? hydrogen peroxide it? would you recommend dripping (3 drops) with no fiber? how many hits does a person get off a new cartridge or 3 drops? she may be trying to get too much from one cartridge and it ends up heating the fiber. regards, phil
Christopher
hi Christopher! the Joye 510 arrived. the gf said MLB juice was light tasting compared to Smokeless Delight. do you know what juice they use? any recommendations? any coffee flavor you recommend? What's up Phill, I'm not sure what they use but I do have some of their carts at home, I'll have a smell and tell you what flavor it is. I have about 200 flavors total so I've gotten pretty good at identify what is what and where it's from Look on the black box that came from smokeless delite does it have a little letter on it? Or perhaps multiple letters? That is usually a good sign of what it is. As for coffee take a look at http://www.dietsmokes.com check out the Janty Coffee, I've heard it's pretty good. I've tried Parker's Niquid coffee and it tastes like coffee candy from See's. Pretty good stuff. her other must be a Joye 306... the parts are interchangeable! she said the 510 tastes burnt, can this be fixed? hydrogen peroxide it? would you recommend dripping (3 drops) with no fiber? Hmm this is one of those things that "just happen." ALthough normally the only time I ever get that strange burnt taste is when I'm using carts which I don't do anymore. Have her take the cotton that's inside the black cart and remove it with some tweezers. Make sure there isn't any fiber on the atomizer. If there is gently remove the fibers. Drip about 3 drops or so on the atomizer and vape away. The burnt taste should go after about 3 or 4 puffs. how many hits does a person get off a new cartridge or 3 drops? she may be trying to get too much from one cartridge and it ends up heating the fiber. When I used carts I got about oh I dunno 4 cigs worth at best. Again I don't use carts anymore but 3 drops will give you about 2 analogs worth. It's also much better vapor. Tastes better too. If your wife is looking for taste the Penstyle usually gives more flavor, but it's big and most people don't want a unit that big. Once you stop using the carts you will notice a flavor increase. But don't throw the carts away, they're still good to use on the go, IE driving in the car etc.
philwashere
howdy Christopher! thanks for the advice and coffee flavor recommendation. i am curious what juice Smokeless Delights uses... the black boxes are marked "cigarette" (high nicotine). she feels the Marlboro (MLB) is weak. i will take out the cotton and tell her to use three drops on the atomizer. regards, phil
Christopher
Hmm that doesn't help to much, well I'm at the office and don't have any tobacco flavored juice here, I have about 50 flavors at home and will try to figure out what he is using then get back to ya
philwashere
hi Christopher! i'm VERY interested to know what Smokeless Delights uses for juice... must not be MLB. i need to get something: my gf put down analog cigarettes for weeks. Smokeless Delights is not only fairly expensive but they are often hard to place a phone order with. thank you, phil
MorisatoIncorporated
Did the smokeless delight carts taste like those Black and Mild mini cigars ? My old carts used RY4 I believe and thats what the liquid reminded me of.
Christopher
Well if it's RY4 then that's pretty much the same as Vapor Talk's Dulcis Juice. I did have a look at the Smokeless Delite carts and I only hve 3 falvors from them, MLB, Pinapple and Apple. You stated your says "cigarette" So I really can't compare them up.
philwashere
thanks MorisatoIncorporated, where can i find RY4? what's that stand for? IMO Smokeless Delights (SD) made that unit as close as possible to an analog cigarette. the flavor is even marked "cigarette". my gf said SD has a mild cigarello flavor. she felt it had less nicotine which meant taking more hits and therefore more satisfying taste-wise. she can quit cigarettes if i can just find a juice like SD's. regards, phil
Christopher
Did it have an almost sweet taste to it? If so RY4 is a version of liquid that has a tobacco taste with a hint of Toffee/Caramel Our Vapor Talk Dulcis is the same thing. If you want to PM me your address I'll send you out a sample. MorisatoIncorporated
I got RY4 from dietsmokes when I got a m401 kit. Hit Chris up for a sample of the dulcis and see how that tastes. Haven't tried it myself but Chris has yet to give bad reviews and he says its pretty great. Also if looking for a stronger nicotine liquid, totallywicked carries the 36mg stuff. philwashere
thanks MorisatoIncorporated and Christopher! i asked my gf about the taste. i think she's too new at this to tell. she liked the Smokeless Delights and my guess is they tried to make that one look and taste as much like a normal cigarette as possible. thank you so much Christopher for the sample... i'm off to PM you now. regards, phil
