Question About Atomizer

Recommended Posts

Okay this might sound weired but I tried a atomizer that when I pressed down to ignite I can see the inside of the atomizer turn red. I don't remember what atomizer I was using but it was awesome. The vapor and TH was really nice. All my other atomizers work great but the inside doesn't turn red. I saw the inside of the atomizer when I was dripping and just wanted to see what happens when I ignite it, and this one was like the inside of a toaster nice and red. Just trying to find out what make it was and where to buy them ? :detective:

Hey whats up Jeff, I am pretty sure it was a 801.I have a Black de-bridged 510 atomizer for dripping and this one dosn't turn red but it works good. I don't get that warm vapor feeling I read people say. What att do you use and like the best is it cisco ?

I have not used Cisco's attys yet. I have so many back up Joye 510's  I have heard great things about Cisco's LR attys though. I run my standard Joye 510's at 4.7 volts and my vapor is plenty warm. :)

Jeff don't you supposed to use a high voltage att when your vaping at 4.7 ? I killed three att's using them on my PT, I didn't know I was not supposed to use LR att on my PT. That cost me $ to learn that. :wallbash: But I am getting a lot better. :yes

High voltage atomizers are approx. 4.5 ohms resistance... and they were made for use with 6v+ mods. Standard atomizers are approximately 2.8 - 3.2 ohms resistance... and they are intended for most other vaping anywhere from 3.7 up to 5 volts. The LR version has a resistance somewhere around 1.8 - 2.0 ohms... and, as you now know, were meant for use at 3.7v.

All my standard Joye 510 attys are at 2.2 - 2.5 ( just checked) .... and no they are not LR attys lol

My bad, I must have been recalling the "standard resistance" cartos(yeah I know, big shocker there huh?), as they are the 2.8 - 3.0 ohm ones!

I did find this though:

Joye 510 Atomizer:

Low Resistance (approx. 1.5 - 1.7 ohms)

Standard Resistance (approx. 2.2 - 2.5 ohms)

High Resistance (approx. 3.1 - 3.3 ohms)
