What To Buy

So I've decided on the 510, what else and how much do I need to buy of everything else??? I figure I need the USB adapter since the starter pack only comes with the standard charger but do I need extra atomizers, cartridges, etc?? I figure I need a couple of bottles of the liquid to try any suggestions on flavors?

Yes!! Oh yes!!! You do need extra atomizers (at least a couple extra) and liquid (several sample bottles would be good) and an extra battery. I'm no help with liquid flavors, but get several to try.

The Vapor Talk Store has several different sample packs to choose from. Take a look at the flavors that are in each sample pack, and have fun with it.

Can't believe nana let it go so easy...lol Back-ups back-ups back-ups. If you are buying a standard 510 kit then get at least one extra battery. That way you'll always have one ready while another is on charge. And get a few extra atty's and you might look into a pack of cartomizers. It wont take you long till you find out just how little those standard carts hold and how much trouble they can be. If you think you might like to try direct dripping..you might want to get a drip tip. Go cheap at first till you see if you like it. You can also take out the filler from the carts and use them as just a mouthpiece. As far as juice goes..well that's a tough one. Flavors are different for everybody. What I like you might hate. So look around at some of the vendors and try some samples before you get any larger bottles. The VT store has what I think are some great flavors, especially the Midnight and Sweet Dawn. But the others are great too. It's all a matter of your taste...do you want tobacco like or fruity flavors? Sweet or savory? The choices are endless. But trying lots of different flavors is half the fun of vaping.

As far as flavors are concerned, when I first started vaping I was quitting smoking and found I preferred the tobacco-like flavors as a means of replacing the smoking feel as much as possible. But gradually my tastes expanded into other flavors. Starting out, I'd recommend the VT tobacco juice (or any other tobacco juice for that matter) and VT's Dulcis, and if you were ever a menthol smoker, there is no better menthol juice than VT's Mentha.

if you are going to go with the 510--you may want to look into a pcc (Charging case)--that way you can be charging a battery while you are out and about. extras are always good--extra atty, extra battery, liquid. even good to get a couple different strengths liquid, until you decide which strength works best for you.
