OK. It's official. The VP-PT stand is lame. I keep knocking it over and now I think it's broken. Anybody got any ideas for a better way to hold it?

I bought my dad a PCC for his 510 and he loves it! He said it charges even better than the home charger. If you do some shopping around, you'll find one super cheap ($15.00?). Well worth the money. Even with the PCC, you are coming out cheaper than a Blu and have a much, much better device. BTW-We've made all the mistakes and we are here to make sure you don't make the same ones!

If you buy a Blu, honestly, you will just be wasting your money. You are going to end up buying a 510 anyway so save yourself the time and money and get a 510 now. You can get them here for $54.99 with everything you need or you can shop around to some of the vendors listed here and maybe save a buck or two. The 510 works better, is more reliable, has cheap, easily available parts, and is pretty much the standard. I don't think anybody here would suggest a Blu.

Good find, guys! I didn't know there was such a thing! I have an Xhaler with a 901 fitting. My 901 battery to 510 adapter broke so I've been using a 901 to 801 and then 801 to 510. Goofy! JimMitchell, how do you attach the 510 adapter to make it work in the Stick? The Janty adapter sucks!

Isn't it amazing how the liberals are the ones that want to take away our rights? By the very definition of the word, it would denote the freedom of thought and action for all. Yet they are the very ones that seek to involve themselve socialistically in everyones lives. Jerry Brown is a great example. Degree in Classics from Berkley in the 60's? Can you say drug head? Yet now this bozo wants to take away our freedom to have e-cigs! Unbelievable!

The reality is that your body gets use to vaping and you lose that initial throat hit. A good example is that I had to go to analogs for a day and when I went back to vaping, I coughed and could barely take a decent draw. So what I'm saying is it is not the equipment. Now if your hubby is a huge fan of throat hit, the answer is a high voltage unit. Vaping at 6 volts or more will really do the trick. I own an Xhaler (here's the link) and run it at 7.4V. That really does the trick! Also, atomizers get weak with use and don't produce as much of a throat hit. Have him try a new atomizer and see if that helps.

Welcome to the world of vaping! This is going to be easier than you think! First, I would go ahead and buy a 510 kit with a personal charger pack (PCC). They allow you to keep your batteries charged on the go and double as a carry case. They also seem to "deep charge" the batteries better than a wall unit so they last longer. Any of the vendors here should have what you need. I know that wordupecig has the complete kit with the PCC included. Give Jeff a call at the number on the web site and he will be able to help you out, too. I'm with you on the juice. I like cigarette flavored ones. Any of the marlboro, etc. taste the same so take your pick. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I don't know if I mentioned this in my video, but the Xhaler is vented at the bottom so there is little chance of it blowing up. I routinely run 2 - 3.7V batteries in the thing and don't give it a second thought. If you are looking for a safe hv mod, the Xhaler seems to fill that bill.

It sounds like a weak atomizer to me. That's the symptoms anyway. The atty could be flooded, too. Try blowing it out into a paper towel from the threaded end. Then drip 2-3 drops and try it again. If that doesn't work, I'm guessing it's a bad atomizer. Drop Arno an email and I'm sure he'll send you out another one. I would keep at least 3-4 new ones on hand, just in case.

Don't forget about the Xhaler. It's vented at the bottom (the bottom is basically open) so any pressure would shoot out that way. Pretty safe idea I think. I have one and I'm pretty pleased with it. It uses 2 - RCR123 3.0V batteries and vapes at 6V but I think it's really closer to 5V unregulated.

Welcome to the high voltage club! I've been vaping at 7.4V for the past couple of weeks. Someday, I'm going to blow myself up! As for juice, I found that my home brew using VG tastes better to me. I take Jeff or Arno's 32mg and mix it 50/50 with VG. Maybe the VG has a slightly higher vaporization point? Anyway, that seems to taste best to me personally at 6-7.4V. I can't wait until eastmall comes back online after the Chinese New Year. I'm itching to try the Indugence now that the Joker is not an option.

If you really want to be the safest, you can order from totally wicked. They certify all their juice is sourced and mixed in the UK and contain only pharmacutical grade PG and nicotine, plus flavorings I suppose. Not my favorite juices but certainly certified clean.

Oh God! I can't let my wife see this! She has an antique tackle box she uses now for her makeup and other female hardware. She would go nuts over this!

I have to be totally honest. I think I'm even more addicted to nicotine than ever. I vape constantly. I tell myself that when things "settle down", I'll start dropping the nic level until I'm off the stuff but I don't see that happening anytime soon. However, I feel better, look better, smell better, and perform better having not taken in carbon monoxide, tar, and a host of other nasty chems. If they ban these things, I'm sure are anything that I will go back to analogs. I hope your experience is different!
