My wife made an interesting statement last night. She said when people see somebody vaping in public they think they are smoking crack or weed or something. I said that I get nothing but positive responses and loads of questions. Her response was that they are questioning because they think your an idiot for doing drugs in public. "Your aren't smoking crack in front of my kids are you?". This is a new one on me. Anybody ever get those types of questions or ever feel like that?

VegasVaper, head over to the DYI e-liquid forum. It's super easy to cut 24mg to 16mg using glycerin. You can get the glycerin from a cake decorating store, Michael's, and even Walmart. The kind I use is made by Wilton. There is tons of info on how to do it in the forum.

What Is Everyones Opinion On A Second Kit?

I would go with a Janty Stick. I posted up a video on how it's faired after 90 days of constant use in the video reviews forum. The best 801 attys I've found for that are the Janty Kissbox Classic TAWA (throw away atomizers) from Janty USA. They run $8.95 and just rock in the Janty Stick. The only difference between them and the regular Kissbox Classic attys is that they don't have a warrenty. I have 4 that are still going strong after 90 days! It seems like most serious vapors eventually go with either a Janty Stick or a Vaprlife VP unit. I have a Stick and a VP2 (review coming today). Both are good values for the money and last a long time. I wish I had know all this in the beginning and save myself lots of money and headaches on other devices. -
Here's my video review of the Janty Stick after having owned and used it almost exclusively for 90 days. How well it's holding up, what I've learned about it, some rants, some raves, and some tips for how to get the most out of it. This should be helpful to folks who are considering buying one and those who already own one.

A review/demo of a manual battery for a DSE801. Also comparing the manual to an automatic battery and some helpful tips, too. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=-QN5xeli9_I

Welcome to the vaping world! I got a Smoke 51 from the mall and it sucked! Don't waste your money. Just call the bank and cancel it through them. A good starter e-smoke is a standard Joye 510 available at: http://www.vaporkings.com or Diet Smokes or Awesome Vapor These guys will treat you right. Just order a Joye 510 starter kit and the following extras: 1 - 510 Atomizer 1 - bottle of e-liquid, 24mg The total with shipping should be around $70 and keep you busy for awhile. And don't forget to hang around here! Somebody can answer all your questions when you are learning about vaping.

Arno's liquids ROCK! I guess I'm a pansy, though, because I cut his 36mg Marlboro 50/50 with VG. Saves tons of money, too! Thanks for the tip about 36mg killing your craving. I still want an analog some times (wife is still smoking). I do 24mg in the morning to jump start. Does anybody else do a high nic content in the morning?

Last night I was in my pool blowing vapor across the top of the water. It laids down real nice and gives a cool effect. I'm assuming it's a humidity difference between the air near the surface of the pool and the ambient air. Halloween is coming up and my band was testing out our lasers for the Gwavaween show. They made me the official fog generator last night! Hey, a PV is just a mini fog machine, right? We should come up with a thread called "Stupid Vaping Tricks"!

Janty Stick for sure. Especially if you sit at the computer. VP2 is awesome but has no USB passthrough built-in like the Janty Stick. Plus, you can buy an adapter with the Janty Stick and use your 510 carts. -
If the atty is sizzling, it probably is still OK. I brought one back that was not producing much vapor at all using the denture cleaner method. Get some denture cleaner (it doesn't matter what kind) and soak the atty overnight. Here's the process: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/1512-another-way-to-clean-your-atomizer/ Just remember to drip 4-5 drops in it before vaping and be patient. It takes probably 3-4 times before it starts working right again. It's going to gurgle and make all kinds of racket. You may even suck in some juice at first (for God's sake spit it out!) but usually it will start back vaping in a few tries.

510s seem to get really hot compared to like an 801. It's probably a size thing. Sometimes, I'll just take a drag, count to 10, take another drag, etc. Sometimes you can even put your fingers on the atty and cool it down a bit between drags. If it's melting plastic, I'm think that's a bad atomizer. Maybe a short in it?

Here's a link on how to make your own nicotine. Sounds pretty easy and might come in handy. http://www.e-cig.com/shopping/shopcontent.asp?type=eliqrecipes

Roger that, KansasVaper. I've been pretty successful in life but being a slave to a nasty, unpopular habit has become more and more of a liability. I have a Ph.D. in mathematics and people couldn't believe I was a smoker. It was like they were instantly disappointed in me. Now with vaping, they think it's really cool. It fits in better with the high-tech, super nerd image. I think if we keep this up, we can make vaping really hip! Has anybody heard about celebs vaping? I saw a quick blurb once about Brad Pitt, Tom Petty, and a few others were seen vaping. I also heard Obama smokes and is vaping to give it up. I'm sure there are plenty of smokers in Hollywood, too. Maybe that would go along way to making this a cool thing to do.

Sorry. It's an Excel spreadsheet with all the calculations. Here's the process to use it: 1. Right click on the link and select "Save target as" from the menu 2. Save the file to your computer 3. Rename the file from .txt to .xls 4. Open it with Excel

About what Chris said. That's really what hit me at the hospital. All the smokers just looked so trashy. And I was one! The way it started was my decision to never smoke in public again and then I found this awesome site and the rest is history. Vaping is cool, though. Everytime I do it in public I get lots of positive feedback. I never have had a single negative reaction yet. People think it's really cool and usually want to know where to get one. I put some cards from various vendors I trust in my wallet and give them out. Does anybody else do that?

A review of a standard UBS passthrough from rockymountainvapor.com Pretty much a standard passthrough.

DUDES! I just got the VP2! Man, I'm in love! This things KICKS! I broke out a brand new Totally Wicked atty for the occasion. I swear you could drive a truck over this thing and it would still work. The construction is outstanding! I got the TURQUOISE LED just to be different. It's so cool! I have an 801 to 510 adapter for my Janty Stick and it works great on there, too. I'm super impressed with this thing!

Are they the same threads and size?

My problem is the wife still smokes analogs. I had some serious stress and pretty much went back to analogs for 2 days. I'm back on vaping again now. I hate smelling like analogs! Yuck! Nasty taste in your mouth, too. But this showed me how easy it is to switch back if you aren't careful. Now if I can just get the wife to vape...

Has anybody seen this yet? It is super usefull. It wouldn't let me upload an Excel file so I renamed it to .txt. Just rename it to .xls and it should work. ejuce_calculatorv6.txt

As cool as that would be, a quick Google says no way: http://www.ehow.com/how_4911741_make-colored-fog-solution.html Too bad, too.

The wife has been still on the analogs and it's driving me nuts! It costs a fortune, stinks up the house, makes me want one, but most importantly, it's going to kill her eventually. I love her too much have her leave me too soon. She's already had a run with cancer and smoking is about the worse thing she can do. I can't stand to watch the love of my life killing herself. So I got smart and told her we would redecorate the house, including re-painting the rooms but not if she was going to keep smoking in the house and crud the walls up again. Now she has decided no more smoking in the house and she promises to vape only in the house. I bought her a cute, pink 801 from VaporKing (one of the atomizer blew out in a week, BTW), loaded that sucker up with 24mg B & H (her brand) and hope this is the start of a new day. Has anybody else found a good way to get a loved one to switch over to vaping?

I got an email saying my VP2 shipped Saturday! I hope to have it by Wednesday or Thursday. I'm so excited! I'll do a video reveiw when it get's here. Just over-sharing as usual! LOL! Has anybody else ordered one?

Man, I was absolutely brain dead that day. Please substitue 801 for 901!

Guys this is going to sound stupid, but I truly believe this web site saved my life. I had some PVs that were junk back in November but just couldn't shake the analog habit because these PVs sucked. I decided to give it another try and found this site because of a review you guys had on youtube. It was from there I found out what to buy and how to use them. Now I'm smoke free and feel better every day. I can honestly say that it is the knowledge I received on vapor talk that literally saved my life. I don't think enough people give you guys credit for that. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
