  1. Can't go wrong with the VP-PT. Good price and awesome performance. Oh, I like the club name. Cool!
  2. The same thing happened to me with totally wicked. Bought a bulk 5 pack of 801 atty and, of the 2 I've tried so far, they died within minutes. I have not tried to return them so I can't vouch for their CS but I think sometimes with atty, you get what you pay for.
  3. Puresmoker.com has low bridge 4027 attys. That's the same as an 801 so I'm wondering how they might work.
  4. Good find! I like the carbon fiber.
  5. I vape pretty heavy and it seems like half a day is the average for break-in for me. I would be curious as to what others think. 3 weeks seems like a long break in period. Usually, they start to weaken after 3-4 weeks.
  6. Thanks for the post back Fenwick! I was thinking they were the same as the Janty TAWA which are actually a little cheaper on Janty USA. They are pretty good but I like Arno's better.
  7. Does anybody use a USB converter in their car? I've used mine with the Janty Stick but not the VP-PT. I wonder if it would work with the VP.
  8. I was wondering what everybody brought when going out for the night. I use to bring the Janty Stick case with an extra battery and a 3ml bottle of juice each in one of the side pockets. I found with the VP2 that the battery case will hold a 3ml bottle and an atty so now it's the battery case with a 3ml bottle of juice, an extra atty and 2 extra batteries. And the VP2 of course! Any ideas on cases, essentials, etc. that you guys have found out about? Do you guys pack an extra atty?
  9. After the experience my wife and I both had with Chantix, no thank you to this shot. I can't see how altering ones immune system could be a good thing at all! So it binds to the nicotin so that it cannot affect the receptors in the brain? What this says to me as that you can smoke like a fiend and never satisfy your physical addiction. Honestly, I can't see how that would work at all. However, as previously stated, it's going to make somebody a HUGE sum of money!
  10. You must devistated over your loss. I have 3 kitties and I can just imagine how you feel. Know that I will be praying for you and Scoot. Sounds like a wonderful kitty.
  11. Hey Sarg, I had a question. What's the ruling on vaping on base? I use to work at USCENTCOM and I have a feeling my J6 would stroke out if I asked. Just wondering what experience has been.
  12. Maybe this needs to go in a different forum but I was thinking about some interesting materials for battery mods. Like maybe Kevlar or Carbon Fiber. That might solve the exploding battery issues!
  13. OK, I just have to say it again: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the VP-PT!!! Bad news is now I need a VP3!!!
  14. liquid express has atomic fireball. That's cinnamon, right? http://www.liquidxpress.com/Regular-E-Liquid/Atomic-Fireball-E-Liquid-p90.html
  15. I think you got this covered pretty well. My dad is a heavy smoker and I bought him a 510 and he's not smoked an analog since. He loves it! I started him on 24mg since that is a good place to start as an analog smoker. That would be my suggestion. I would also stick to flavors like Marlboro or any tobacco flavor. I still prefer that over "food" flavors myself. I did order my dad some extra attys and got him a bottle of 16mg this time just to see if he could step down a bit now. He's buying my brother a 510 for Christmas and see if he can get him off the analogs, too. Good luck with your bro! I think he is going to be successful big time!
  16. MHO: 24mg is a little more "harsh", if that's the right term, to me. I do 24mg in the morning to get going and then switch to 16mg. Lately, I'm doing 12mg most of the day and it's fine. As mentioned here, moderation is the key. Nicotin does raise blood pressure and heart rate so it's probably best to moderate. Same with coffee. A few cups a day is OK but 5 pots is probably not too good.
  17. Awesome video! Great music, too!
  18. A silent video of me vaping 3 different PVs. This is my tribute to bigicedog!
  19. I just tried this bad boy with a 510 atty. Hot damn! This thing smoke like a frieght train! The bad part is that I've all but given up my Janty Stick since I got into the VP units. :P
  20. Your Titan is a 510. There are basically 2 main types of e-cigs: 801 and 510. There are millions more but that's what most of us use. Your Titan (or 510) is a thin unit with a small atomizer. They are very good and parts are plentiful. You made an excellent choice! The 801 is a pen style and is much larger. About like a big ink pen. The advantage is a bigger atomizer and a bigger battery. You might want to pick one up just to try it out sometime. Also, go ahead and order a couple more atomizers for your Titan. Any 510 atomizer will work fine and you can check the suppliers forum for a store. They are available just about anywhere. Watch some of the videos on this site where the guys are reviewing devices. That's basically how I learned to use an e-smoke. It's more like sucking on a soda straw where you pull long and slow. 4-6 seconds is probably the average.
  21. I remember my grandpa said that during the depression the only things that sold well were vices and entertainment. I guess folks need the escape. Seems like analog sales is related to the stress most folks are facing these days. I bet alcohol sales are up, too. Speaking of, is it Miller time yet?
  22. Check this out: Johnny Depp story
  23. Do they let you guys vape inside at the base? I use to work at CENTCOM and I wondered how they would react. Knowing my GS13 supervisor, I'm guessing the she would have a cow! Perhaps Sarge can answer this question. I was just curious if the military had a view on vaping yet.
  24. Keenan, you have a good point. I think an analog would burn at a relatively low temperature whereas a spark caused from one of our batteries could possibly ignite the fumes. The scare about cell phones awhile back turned out to be cause by static charges from getting in and out of the car. Reach for the nozzle, little bit of an arc, and boom! On the other post, isn't deisel fuel only flamable under pressure? As I recall it has a very high flash point therefore it needs to be vaporized and under pressure to ignite. We had this argument with HR when we were smoking by the fuel tank for the generator at work. We won.
