  1. Damn, Vacker1229, your killing me! You Cali folks are so lucky to have fresh produce all the time. I really miss that about living in CA! Fresh peaches...yummmm....
  2. You guys ever feel like a PV junky? So much for the savings on analogs!
  3. The Georgia boy in me is wishing for some fresh peaches and since they are out of season, I figured the next best thing would be some taste peach e-juice. Any recommendations?
  4. Awesome! My dad started with a 510 right before Christmas and swears his battery last a day or two. I kill it in just a few hours! Sounds like you are off the nicotine if you aren't vaping that much. What mg juice are you using?
  5. It's a pretty awesome unit! Here's my video review: Dr. J's eGo Review
  6. I picked up one of the DSE905s from myvaporstore.com (great shipping btw). The price was awesome at $60. I'm thinking I can convert it to use 2 CR123s. One of our great folks here turned me on to a thread on "the other" forum that described it a bit but I was wondering if anybody else had tried to modify one.
  7. I'm looking for exact same thing! I travel to the middle east a good bit for months on end. Luckily, the military guys let me use their mail boxes to get supplies. As for the devices: I just bought a DSE905 which I think will hold a couple of CR123 3.0v batteries for 6v total. Haven't got the CR123s yet though so I can't say. I also bought a Xhaler off jeffb which is 6v. But I was seriously looking at the Chuck. So far that's my 3 options. When are you leaving? I should be able to update you on these 2 products next week.
  8. Roger on the mega batteries. Not worth the money in MHO. But the PCC is worth every penny. It charges faster than a wall charger, too. And, yes, get a VP-PT ASAP! It comes with a 510 adapter so you can use your 510 atty. It's freakin' AWESOME!
  9. Battery questions: When the batteries come, they are 80% charged. When you put it on the charger and it turned green that doesn't mean it's fully charged. It takes about 8 hours the first time. That being said, it is not going to cause any problem at all if you just go ahead and vape on the battery. It just won't last as long as a fully charged one. I'm assuming you got 2 batteries so go ahead and put the other one on the charger. Let it charge for 8 hours no matter what the light says. After about 8 hours, take the battery off the charger and then put it back on the charger again for 30 minutes. You can also charge your other one tonight when you go to bed and do the 30 minute thing in the morning. Once you do this, you will never have to do it again. You can't overcharge (in theory) these batteries since there is a circuit built-in to the battery that prevents this from happening. So don't worry too much about leaving them in the charger. They are pretty forgiving. On the other hand, the batteries have about 500 charges before they start to weaken and die. Just something to keep in mind and buy some new batts when you get a chance. As for vaping: watch the videos and you'll get an idea of how to do it. I think of it more of a long, drag like sucking on a soda straw rather than a short, deep pull you do with an analog. It's normal to choke and cough the first few times. You lungs aren't use to taking in a liquid vapor so they react by coughing. We've talked about this before and nobody has a real good explanation for why it happens. If I smoke an analog then go vape, I cough. Weird! But rest assured, within a day or so, you'll be a pro!
  10. Taste like strawberry flavoring to me. Maybe like strawberry soda? It's really tastey!
  11. OK. I got 2 video reviews posted. You can check them out in the videos section.
  12. Too bad you don't live in FL because I'm looking to get another one soon. My bud got a traditional one in Thailand. OUCH! It's the monkey god and looks way cool! Here's a picture:
  13. Roger what you said about the VP buttons. They give me fits, too. I usually alternate between the thumb and index finger for that very reason. Before you decide on anything, check out my Janty eGo video review I'm about to post up. It's a very cool little device!
  14. My sister-in-law is friends with Art Fuente and she's constantly bringing me cigars. I'm not a huge fan but I would never want to hurt her feelings. Vaping and smoking are like dieting to me. I can't say I'll never have another cigar or analog. Just like you can't say you'll never have another chocolate cookie. So what if you have a smoke or two? It's not like you won't mostly vape. I don't see it as an all-or-nothing thing. I think we beat ourselves up too much by buying in to the "cold turkey" thing. If you want a cigar, I say you have one. Then you'll realized "Damn these things taste like SH**!" and vape up some Dulcis to get the taste out of your mouth!
  15. I got the eGo I won and I have to say, it's a beautiful device. I'm going to hammer on it for a day or so and then post a video review. But so far, I have to say it is a very nice unit. It's the one I think I would save for going out to fancy places. It resembles an expensive Cross pen! That's one good thing about Janty products: they really do look expensive. Even the little chargers as nice looking.
  16. Ditto on what Keenan said. The automatic batteries suck. I have 2 and they misfire if you look at them sideways. I got my automatic batteries from rockymountainvapor but they don't seem to have them now. Send Jeff at wordup an email and maybe he can locate some for you. He might even substitute them in a 510 kit but don't qoute me on it. If you can't locate any 510 automatic batteries just order a 510 kit, PM me and I would be willing to part with the 2 I have. But I promise, you will be disappointed.
  17. You are going to freaking love it! I work on my computer all day and I swear it's never out of my hand.

  19. I personally don't like a lot of throat hit but I have found that a couple of drops of lemon juice per 10ml works pretty well, if that's your thing. I know Johnson Creek adds lemon juice to their "juice". Seems like PG has more throat hit than VG to me. But that's just my feelings with no scientific data.
  20. I haven't tried that yet but it's an awesome idea!
  21. I just picked up a DSE905 in hopes of running 2 - cr123 batts for 6v. I haven't received it yet but from what I've gathered up, it needs to be bored out a bit to accept the batts. Does anybody have a link to how to mod it for 6V?
  22. I have a bunch of "marginal" attys as most of us do. I had a 510 red stripe that wouldn't vape for nothing on my VP2 so I thought "what the heck" and screwed it onto the VP-PT. Low and behold, it worked like a charm! Same thing with some of my 801 attys! I'm guessing the extra current is cutting through the crude on the atty coil. Good SWAG anyhow! Just thought you guys would like to know before you ditch those old attys. Try them on the VP-PT first!
  23. What was the old joke about that? Yugo slow or maybe Yugo nowhere? Something like that! Remeber Le Car? I saw a few of those have Le broke-down-on-the-side-of-the-road!
